That has got to be the greatest, most epic WAHOO videos ever made, if not the greatest wahoo fishing trips ever! And all fish caught with no trolling, boat sitting still, in a small boat, all on light gear spinning rods, sight casting to giant wahoos with artificial lures. Only the best wahoo fishermen can only dream of a bite and a trip like that! Great job guys! What's funny was the by-catch was yellow fin tuna! And.... all fish released! Amazing! Never thought I'd see anything like it again but you've proved me wrong!!! Epic!!
Wish we had fishing like this in the states so jealous of this shit!! Question tho is there rules on harvest over there catch and release only? I’d doubt any of those fish survive bleeding out in the boat beating themselves to death and then drying out for a photo shoot. Sharks are eating good I guess. I’m not hating at all just not sure how it works over there.
Unfortunately we weren't set up to take fish of that size home, so we did our best to get them back in the water as quickly as possible or not to even take them from the water at all. we figured They have more chance of surviving a hook wound and then being released then they do being put in the icebox.. all fish swam off. Wow haven’t even watched the whole things yet and already blow away almost jumped that wahoo right into the boat epic shit man can’t wait to watch the rest.
That’s awesome. I’ve seen them and kingfish (mackerel) sky a bunch of times on kite baits. I saw something extremely impressive once though from a king. It jumped out of the water at probably a 30-45 degree angle. And was perfectly level the whole time till he got up to about 20-25 feet. Then it turned kind of sideways like a pro on a dirt bike and changed his aim back towards the water. Went in like an absolute bullet, no splash. Those fish sometimes absolutely know what they are doing in the air. It probably covered at least 80-100 foot distance from in and out. But the most impressive thing was that wiggle and orientation change it made at the peak of flight to point it back down perfectly into the water.

You almost got lucas twice with the flying hoo 🤣 Probably your best video to date sammy. That is absolutely an insane session. Thanks for sharing👌🏽🤙🏽

Hi sammy

@@SammyHitzkeFishing hi sammy
Ya in port elizabeth our biggest fighters are yellowtail as you can see in my profile pic also we have good days when the Bonnie's come through. Hope someday my channel gets to your channels level. Thanks for the grate content.
😲.... What the hell?! Pure madness, absolutely insane guys! First time I saw a video about Wahoo fishing. The aerials, the speed and and the power of these beautiful creatures is just breathtaking. Never had so much adrenaline going through my body from watching a fishing video lol. You two are really good team, and that's definitely necessary when drilling these guys, holy moly 😁 you got your tackle and equipment fit and ready, got real good safety and communication between both of you, perfect 👌Awsome hunt.
The amount of adrenaline and joy of you legends was so fun to watch.
Greeting from Germany 🇩🇪
Haha thanks very much mate! Glad you enjoyed the video!!
@@SammyHitzkeFishing 👍 perfect for rainy Days. A good stew, couple of cold ones, good fishing video. Really cool channel, thx for all the nice videos and the work you put in them. ❤️
Wow haven’t even watched the whole things yet and already blow away almost jumped that wahoo right into the boat epic shit man can’t wait to watch the rest.
hahah spoke too soon mate!
Awesome fishing video. The blowups were unreal. Loved that slow motion take. Had to share this with everyone I know
justin jones 🙌🙌 glad you liked it mate! 🍻🍻
Truly amazing I have had some wonderful days out and seen some great stuff but this is the stuff most of us just dream of. Thanks for sharing it. Definitely got a new sub here
Dang that wahoo must have thought he was a flying fish! Great video my friend!!
This has to be the best fishing footage ive ever seen well done mate 🍻
Mate!!! ... that was the most insane fishing video ever!!!
wow just simply amazing, that fish flying into the boat was scary for me watching
Andrew Wyndham haha yeah it was pretty scary to see in person! Would have been bad news if he got hit!
My face hurts from smiling the entire video. Great day!!
just was offshore this Sunday, our seas here in Stuart FL were about 4-5 big swells, so seeing you get a glassy day like this just makes me wanna get back out there. damn the work week. maybe ill get a day like this once while I'm still kicking! stay Stoked!
So What If This Video Was 1 Year Ago. This Is The Best Fishing Video Ive Seen !!
🙌🙌🙌 appreciate it mate! Thanks for watching 🍻🍻
That was epic. Best Vid I've seen for a while. Lucas is pretty lucky he didn't cop a wahoo in the guts. Would have been messy trying to finish fishing the session with him bleeding out in the background.
YAHOO WARHOO! Those things are missiles, the best fishing video on RUclips ever.
daryl cunliffe Cheers legend! Yeah was an insane day!
I think its so cool to see you release these insane gamefish that 99.9 percent of anglers would definitely keep. keep up the great work
Those fish were shark food after being exhausted, suffocated, and bled to death. This is the worst example of "catch and release" ever.
@@criticaljim7553 true. I didn't think about that.
Best who fishing I have ever seen. It was awesome to watch those palegic fish of the deep blue up at the top and being so fired up. There colors were amazing. Sweet video man. Might be a long time before you see that again.
Ducks in my heart Taylor yeah very lucky to have seen it that’s for sure! Thanks for tuning in 🍻🍻
Two words - in sane! Those wahoo are unbelievable mate, I’ve never seen fish so agro for a lure. I’d love a bit of that action, well done. 🍺🍺🎣🎣
They were certainly in the mood that day! cheers mate!!
Nice vid, when fishing for wahoo you never want to lift the rod to set the hook- that’s why so many didn’t get hooked. You just want to keep reeling and don’t stop reeling until they start to take drag- it’s that simple
