Fog lights you can find on eBay. They used to be called the Harley-Davidson light but now you can just search Trans Am fog light. You will need to modify the bracket to make them work and do a little bit of wire splicing.
ngl as a bird owner myself i prefer the stock headlights the only thing i run is blacked out taillight covers. i watched your video from a few years ago of the build tho its a good looking trans am man
I appreciate the feedback. Not all modifications are for everyone. I created it because I always wanted it and no one else made anything remotely close to it. I just like giving people options to create something custom for themselves. I always appreciate different builds. That's where you get ideas from.
I do plan on trying to make a bracket for the high beam location, but I'm not sure that will function well as a high beam. The light will be the same light just flipped upside down. So it won't be any brighter and will just change the direction. The light is shining. Upward instead of down at the road. Some people might want to run it as a quad low beam headlight. But currently with my LED fog lights I don't even need high beams. I drive with the headlights on and if I need high beams I turn on my fog lights. Way more than enough light
No not yet. Once you have done the low beam, it's pretty much wash/ rinse/ repeat. In fact, I think the high beam is easier. The plate pops in and lines up with the top and outside edge of the framework. I will make a video soon for it though.
Dude looks awesome and always happy to see more products for late 4th gen birds come to market, that said I don't want to be a safety nanny but do these lights have a DOT right hand traffic (note for those reading thats different than right hand drive which is left hand traffic) light pattern to not blind other drivers?
@@003Blind I would say with the headlights all the way up acting like more of a brick wall would probably catch a whole lot more air than this which makes the headlight lid almost level with the ground. No experiment to prove it. But sticking my hen out of the window and holding it straight up and down versus flat. I can figure that out
The high beam is similar to the low beam and probably even simpler because it lines up with two edges on the factory bucket making it easier to holes to drill.
The headlight is smaller so you would only need one, which is plenty bright, but I need to design a bracket for it. I haven't got my hands on a 93 - 97 yet though.
The fog lights you can find on eBay. They were originally Harley Davidson lights. Just search trans Am fog light LED. My parking lights are modified stock housings with an LED ribbon on the inside and a clear acrylic lens. Side markers are smoked clear with LEDs.
This is only the low beam. I haven't made a video of the high beam install. It's very similar but with a different orientation of the light and the plate. The plate is a different design as well. But if you can do the headlight and the high beam is pretty straightforward.
This may be a silly question, but is there anything preventing the pressure from the motor stripping the gears out? I'm just curious since it is using a stopper
No. They already currently stopped by having the arm hit a stopping point. I think that's what strips the motors in the first place. Because they're plastic. But it's no different than stock. Just stopping at a different location.
can't decide yet if I like it or not but applaud the ingenuity
Just ordered the hi/lo kit yesterday. Can't wait
Neat stuff! Genius 3d printing!
Dude your freaking awesome, great work.
Thank you
Sick I’ll be ordering here pretty soon in San Antonio area
Any update? I’m curious about getting the kit but I want some reviews. No offense to the creator but just don’t wanna risk it too much
If you check some of my Instagram posts, I have tagged several customers that you can contact yourself for honest reviews. @Devouru_ws6
love this! placed an order a few days ago. Would love to get the fog-lights you are using - they match the LED headlights you're selling really well.
I'll email you
Hey I love this kit and want the fog-lights as well! Which ones are they? @@jrandsr5158

Is the website down I want to order???

Any plans to do something with the brights?

Do you have a video of the install on the high beams as well

any for a 93-97??
Any chance you'd upload the stopper/spacer 3d model to a site so we can buy the parts or print em ourselves? I have some nice lights I'd love to try.
I sell the stopper. I also now 3D print plates for the low beam and high beam to attach the lights. I sell the whole kit on my Instagram.
@@jrandsr5158 youll be hearin from me then lol.
Just got my stoppers man thanks!
@jrandsr5158 wasn't supposed to come with bolts and a washer right? What size did you use?
No, the stoppers are just the stoppers. The hardware comes when you buy the complete kits. I used a stainless steel 1/4-20x2" bolt.

I installed brass gears, like the normal look.
The two are not related. They still operate like normal.
How long is that motor arm stop? 2 inches?
I’m interested in a kit, where are you located?

Does it catch a lot of air?

How do the high beam brackets go in? Looks like the bucket in the plate sits in towards the car where as the low beam sticks out.
The high beam is similar to the low beam and probably even simpler because it lines up with two edges on the factory bucket making it easier to holes to drill.
Looks awesome
Are these pretty much like drl’s or do they replace the headlight completely? Can’t tell
Play replace the headlight and the high beam completely. Extremely bright compared to OEM and a sleeker look.
I wonder if the lights would work on a 93-97 camaro?
The headlight is smaller so you would only need one, which is plenty bright, but I need to design a bracket for it. I haven't got my hands on a 93 - 97 yet though.
I live on the east coast and have ordered this kit a few days ago, how long does it usually take to ship?
It was shipped out Tuesday. You should have received an email confirmation and it usually takes 2-3 days.
@@jrandsr5158 just got it in, looks great, just was wondering if they were made to order or made ready. Thank you
What are the other light upgrades you did?
The fog lights you can find on eBay. They were originally Harley Davidson lights. Just search trans Am fog light LED. My parking lights are modified stock housings with an LED ribbon on the inside and a clear acrylic lens. Side markers are smoked clear with LEDs.
is it possible to make this kit work on my 96 Firebird?
Not this one no. I haven't had my hands on one yet but would like to make a kit. It should be really simple. Just need to have one in hand.
What about high beams or these are only the low beam?

How much are you selling your mounts for?
The stoppers by themselves are $30 shipped in the contiguous USA. The whole kit is $200 shipped in the contiguous USA.
@Jr and Sr Hell yeah man appreciate it! I'll be ordering once my build is done
