I bought the other brand for my build but that was before HFV launched his store and it was complicated. I'd buy from him just because he's a cool cat though.
What.. you only just found out about adhesive shrink wrap? I knew about it the first time I went to purchase shrink wrap, over 10 years ago. Another thing to note, the adhesive stuff shrinks down 4-1, the standard only shrinks 2-1.
It’s not ideal, but the reducer ends, (knukonceptz offset) along with the side post adapters will give you a lot more options with those block terminals.
That "nameless" (cough cough KnuConcepts) terminal has lots of problems. I had one on my Cruze to upgrade my ground and I discovered that it is extremely limited in access to tighten it to the battery. Ya Boy HifiVega's military style terminal is much more versatile. It can be mounted in a lot of different angles because it doesnt have wires going every which way.
Yep. The company that makes that terminal makes good wire and they have some good fuse blocks. Other than those terminals they sell a lot of great products.
I need to do the big 3 eventually haha. But I think It's not really needed in my use case just yet. But eventually would be nice to do along with a lithium swap. Need to at least boost my voltage before switching to lithium. I know someone that'll be able to help me do that though in discord.
my honda civic fb 2.0 2014 alternator controled by Ecu. charging system control by ecu. when idle voltage just 12.3v, that mean alternator doesnt charging, when on a head light or aircond, having load, alternator start working, charging at 14.3v. alternator control by ecu can do a big3?? because charging line from alternator direct to a bateri+ . its safe to big3?
I don't know, and I am not willing to speculate when electricity is involved. Tons have people have installed systems in Civics. I bet there is a car audio forum or a civic forum that can help. Sorry.
Hey dyi guy I have an emergency, how can I get in touch with you on how to get the dimensions to make a speaker box for my toyota camry from 15.4 cubic feet is the number
I'm not really set up to help out with emergencies. But, Information on custom box designs can be found here: diysubwoofer.blogspot.com/2021/05/custom-subwoofer-enclosure-designs.html?m=1
1/0 awg is supremely overkill for 90% of car audio systems, if there is high currant flowing through grounds you got big problems(should never see more than .5 volts through a ground on a normally operating system.). 4 awg is suitable for most of the low budget systems, unless you are pumping 4000+ watts(250+ amp alt) 1/0 is totally overkill. and if you do short out on a lower budget system that short is going to last all of milliseconds. you only need half to 3/4 the wire size of your power wire.
Yessir!
The video should get lots of views, it doesn't go live for 2 more days and I'm already getting comments.

Absolutely! I like buying from my favorite creators and from the brands that support them.

I guess that depends on what you mean by recent. I am old enough so that 10 years ago seems recent to me.
Looks like it's gonna be a Big one!
That's what she said!
I have never purchased any kit’s at all since I always purchase cables, looms, shrink wrap, separately and make it according to length
A lot of people go that route, especially if you have left overs from your amp install.
I swear it was HiFi Vega who drop that mail and high tailed it out of there. #CreepyHiFi
Anybody that wants to drop free gear on my front porch and then run away is welcome to do so!

Yes, they sell a side post.
Where do I buy those better Looms?

The Knu terminal is nice, but it's so limited.
Yes.

@@DIYAudioGuy Agreed. Great company, bad terminal
I like Vega but I would never buy at those prices. I know how to do it myself.
Nothing wrong with that.

Right now I don't really need to upgrade the electrical, but I can see a time when I will need the extra juice so I can test out gear in the truck.

You calling out CCA Vega? He promised it was all copper.
You will have to watch to find out! See you on Sunday when it premieres.
How can I purchase ?
It's in the description. HiFi Vega has competitive prices.

4awg works fine for most systems.
