That fly is worth tying. First, for the modest challenge; second, because it's a handsome thing! Thanks, Davie. 😄

Thats exactly what I like about you Davie. It is all about the fly, techniques, proportions and how to help all of us become better flytyers. Thank you for being so human.

Thats a belter of a fly Davie! I have been using your channel a lot over the past few months as I have recently began tying my own flies. Your videos have been very helpful to me and I feel has helped me improve and indeed enjoy tying more quickly than I would have done otherwise.
Thanks for your videos (and the commentary!!)
    Martin.

Hi Davie thank you for another great video. And thank you for the shot of the heather I live in Scotland while in the Navy and I do miss it. I wish I fly fished back then. Some day I will return and I'll be bringing my rod for sure. Thank you again. Paul

    Hi Davie,
Just starting to fish again after a long absence and you videos have inspired me to try fly tying. It would be very helpful to me and possibly other fly tying beginners if you could put the "recipe" in the description of the video. I try to write down a material list as you describe it but it would be nice to be sure of getting the right materials.

Hi Davie, thanks for all your help, one thing i realised is the time it takes you to tie your flies on video is longer than normal for yourself. i have now slowed down my tying and find my flies are 100% better if i take my time i.e.5 minutes longer than you.keep up the good work ,you are the master.

    Hi Davie,
Cracking fly! And as always, expertly tied!
One question if you don't mind, I noticed on your Bug Bong Lite that the tip is yellow. Is this the standard tip with the lite or did you buy that separate?
    Many Thanks once again Davie!
    Best Regards,
    ~David

Davie, does Veniards sell blue jay feathers? I have been unable to locate them in the U.S. I am not sure if it is an endagered species or not. I have ordered some veniards products from ebay but I have been unable to purchase anything from the Glasgow store. I registered but haven't been able to get the order to go through.
Thanks in advance for your precious time in answering my question. ATB Sean
