Thanks for posting this video. I've watched it many times. I've been told by some of our regular local guests that on a clear day the whistle can be heard five miles away. I'm the engineer in the vid. As to a reply to the other comments, she is a real steam engine. We have 800 gallons or so of water in the tender, which is filled every 4 hours or so, 6-150 gallon propane tanks for our burner. She's fired not too much different than an oil burner.
@@Frisco-si2jh ones at over TX use water and oil they put water in them every 2 hours plus they originally operated in a sugarcane plantation back at the turn of century one engine was built in 1897 and other one built in 1901 I don't know anything about the at this park though except that it propane fired
