sehr schön gespielt, ich kenne das lied als"rosamunde",mir hat es sehr gut gefallen.
We love this polka in northern Mexico, it’s called el barrilito, we replace the bass notes arrangement with a 12 string guitar called the bajo sexto ❤
“Bajo sexto” is Spanish for “under sixth.”
@@samschmit7181yes its a 12 string Mexican Guitar
She so smooth with it 😎 love the rosamunde 🪗
Thank you so much for playing a polka a day! I still have to catch'em all. But this one is one of my favourites!!
Thank you so much for watching and being a part of it! This is also my favourite!
How nice to hear accordion music like this; Bravo.
Thanks Mark :)
Lucy, that is an AWESOME version! You play it so well! Thanks!
Hey, that was a little different, with various moves, she still rolled out a classic, "Roll Out the Barrel" .
Ja! Naturlich gut! Wunderbar!
I first heard this played by Primo Scala’s Accordion Band on a 78 my dad had, on the Rex label I think from the late ‘30s with vocal refrain. I’ve never tried the accordion, my dad used to play it by ear though, but I imagine not that easy to master.
AMAZING job Lucy! You made the ocean smile :)
Bardzo dobre wykonanie melodii, Pozdrawiam z Polski !
You saved the best till last, fantastic performance!! .... I will watch them all again, looking forward to your next video after a well earned rest, and thankyou for the wee appearance of Winnie. x
Thank you Martin! This arrangement is absolutely amazing and I love it so much! It's quite a difficult arrangement but luckily I learned it a few years ago so I didn't have to rush learning it for the challenge. I've made a '31 Days of Oktoberfest' playlist to make it easier to find the videos. I appreciate all of your support!
I could listen to good accordion music all day long! 👏👏👏👏👏
Thank you very much for all those Oktoberfest videos. They are all so nice.
Thanks for watching them and leaving a comment. I really appreciate it!
Nice to finish with the Beer Barrel Polka. I can't just pick out one favorite video, there all so wonderful! It was a joy Lucy to take us on this 31 day journey! I've personally really enjoyed it and looked forward to your beautiful videos each day! Thank you Lucy. Hopefully, you'll do more of these musical journeys with your accordion!
Thank you for following along and leaving such uplifting comments. They were a great motivation for me when the challenge became harder to keep up with during the last week. I hope to do another, maybe for St Patrick's Day in March. Until then I will probably relax my posting schedule a little bit. Anyway thank you again for being here, your support is awesome :)
@@accordionlucy Oh thank you very much Lucy! I really enjoyed watching you play each day and giving all of us music each day to enjoy and to brighten up our day in this time we're all going through! Have a much needed rest from posting. Looking forward to another like journey, possible in March! Thanks again.
Wow! thanks for sharing your October challenge! It was very enjoyable.

I'm learning this for my first polka! Not quite as tough of an arrangement as you may imagine :D CHeers, great inspiration!

That was the level best I've ever heard that done! Way to go! You made it!
Aw thanks William. I absolutely love this arrangement. Thanks for following along and being so supportive of the challenge!

Осмелюсь возразить!
Как раз не самое лучшее исполнение, если не сказать больше!
That was a great October Fest, thank you.👍
You are so welcome :) I'm really glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for following along.
Beautifully done!
Thank you so much for this lovely comment! Truly brought a smile to my face :) x
Thanks for playing, years ago i was playing it too.
Marek from Toronto

Amazing
I love it! 👍👍👍
Yay thanks!
Favourite video? Everyone of them of course!!! But I found especially one interesting, 'Jolly Coppersmith'. Has bits of a polka I play myself 'Mutta Spricka Polka'.
Thanks a lot Henrik :) Jolly Coppersmith was recommended to me by a viewer a while ago. It's really fun to play! Challenging but worth the extra effort to learn. Thank you for following along and being part of this.
The pretty lady plays a beautiful song great.
Thanks for watching!
Wonderful performance !!!
Thanks a lot Mario!
Bravo!!!👏👏👏👏👏
Thank you dear!
In Argentina we know this song as "Barrilito de cerveza" (Little barrel of beer)
That right hand gets pretty technical at the end! Well done!
Lots of practise went into that part! Thank you :)

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Remember??
.
.
Once, not too long ago I was watching a piano player, marveling that humans can do completely different things with either hand!
,.
Then, I realized that I've played guitar for decades !!.
.
AND. . I now have a piano in my house {mother-in-laws}, but only "play" a VERY tiny bit, but hardly two hands. . .
Looked at the clarinet polka and i see that I'm repeating myself. Forgot I posted before. Nice to hear anyway.
Very good played.
Thank you Ernst :)
From a Genuine Slovak.....Well Done!!
Wow thanks a lot Thomas :)
No, no.... Jaromir Vejvoda, Komponist, born in Prag /Praha ! So he was an Czech, and not Slovak.
Rosamunda ... for Italians
🟩⬜🟥
What does Rosamunda mean?
@@accordionlucy It's the translation of a German female name, this composition of "Deutsche" origin has become famous in Italy because the melody has been combined with lirics to sing dedicated to this fanta-woman: Rosamunda.
I'd like to hear it on a Bandoneon and Cooperfisa makes The Bandoneon Accordion
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thanks!
В основном любовался красотой исполнительницы, красивая девушка!

Into Germany this Song call Rosamunde

Dear Lucy.
Best regards from Austria to Australia!
I love your interpretations.
Is there perhaps also sheet music for this song?
It's in the Gary Dahl Polka book!
congrats
Thank you Jackson! I think you're amazing for having done this for an entire year. It's a lot of work. No wonder you developed your skills on the instrument so quickly.
Hey Lucy,
Great job with your October fest project! Listen, I’ve just uploaded a polka on my channel which I cannot find anywhere on the internet. I believe I may have the wrong title for it perhaps.
Since you seem to know quite a bit of polkas I was wondering if you could check it out and see if you’ve heard it before? If so, is there an alternate title for it? I find it hard to believe that this piece is THAT obscure.
Thank-you & Bravo!
Hey i'll check it out now!
😊😊😊
😊
Congratulations on completing your challenge. Now you know 31 more polkas.
Thank you so much :) I never would have though it would be possible to learn so many new songs in such a short space of time... but anything is possible if you put your mind to it and have the right people encouraging you! Thanks for your support :)
bardzo ładnie grasz .... subskrypcja i lajk
Thanks for your support :)

Thanks for watching!
Lucy, What book did you learn this polka from?
