I'd like to thank each and every one of you who take the time to watch DtC, and am very grateful to everyone who takes even more time out of their day to comment. In a perfect world Tom or Ob would be able to engage with everyone in the comment section, but alas the world is far from perfect. Tom doesn't know how (and refuses to learn) and Ob is a major Luddite paralyzed by techno-fear.. He's convinced his phone is spying on him.

Q: I have a burning question about something in the video! What should I do?!
A: An email sent directly to Tom is the best way to get your question answered, because while he most definitely reads each and every one of your comments, he hasn't quite gotten the hang of replying to them in the comment section, and is not likely to in the foreseeable future. Or ever. Seriously, he still calls RUclips "the U-TOOBZ". Just email him, srsly.

IMO that plate probably disproves the legitimacy of those daggers more that it proves it. It seems more likely to me that someone was using that plate to practice fake etches. Just my opinion though, not based in fact.
I think your bang on with your view on that, why are there eickhorn etches on there as well, when eickhorn done all there own etching
@@seanyb5795 Also the fact that their are etches on the plate from 1934 through 1942. Seems strange that a plate would be hanging around for 8 years without being used or replaced.
Definitely plate to practice fake etches.

Your Master-Plate says SkiweTtkampf, the blade has SkiweLtkampf. Your Master-Plate says BrigadefÜhrer, the blade has written it as BirgadefUhrer. (without the needed double dot above the U).
FYI: Double dot is called an "umlaut".

Another 3 daggers from Guildford, I knew I shouldn't have left there all those years ago.
For thos🎉e who do not know, Guildford is a lovely town in Surrey, with a river running through it, a cobbled high street, and some wonderful old buildings and the remains of a Norman castle.

Die Widmung auf der Klinge des SA Dolches dürfte eine Fälschung sein. Eine schlecht gemachte obendrein. Es steht dort "Skiweltkampf", sollte aber wenn schon "Skiwettkampf" heißen. Viele Grüße aus Deutschland!
You should do a show showing all your rare sa daggers! All the etched,inscribed,rare makers and honor daggers that would be fantastic!
Are these high quality SA daggers ending up on the website ? Usually great condition pieces from the videos don't make it to the website :(
