I love all the ones you have shown however I struggle w the pointed toe shoes (though I love them) because my foot is big and a little wider at the front. At size 11, I have thought about sizing up but finding bigger shoes that are cute have not been too easy. Any suggestions?

My favourite boots are : Chelsey boots. You can ware these all year round under trousers. I wait for sales and buy a spare pair. When my boots start to look tired, I go to the new pair and the old ones I will use for working in the garden or around the house.
My favourite heels : low thin square heels, stylish, very stable or block heels with a twist.
My favourite type of leather : patent leather and metallics, so easy to maintain.
My favourite pumps : I use my pumps for a pop of color and I match the color with very opaque tights. I will pair them with black dresses. (orange tights with orange shoes, pale blue tights with pale blue shoes, etc...)
My favourite sandals : Birkentstocks and sandals that come up a little bit at the back of the foot.
I have wide feet, so pointy shoes are a no no. I love the Todds loafers but I can't wear them, they hurt my feet at the largest point. The stitching always rubs against the bone, where a lot of women have a bunion ? I am trying my hardest to avoid bunions.
You hit the nail on the head with this video Fumi! I wear heels almost everyday, but mostly I wear kitten and 2 inch heels. Low heels are still feminine, and I can strut my stuff all day in them!

Fumi, i agree with you about the round toe shoes not being smart-looking. However, pointed toe shoes can really squeeze the toes, especially if you don't wear the right size, or if worn consistently, which leads to ugly shoe corns. I am an office worker and wear shoes all the time...well, almost all the time, and shoe corns are permanently on my toes, especially the last three toes. High heels are the worst offenders. Lately, I got some silicon shoe pads to relieve the shoe corns. Fumi, please, can you do an episode on how to prevent or avoid shoe corns.

I remember being so down about not being able to wear high heels when i had a leg injury. Fast forward couple yrs down the line I now enjoy flats more and gravitate to smaller heels or platforms. I still struggle with the height factor but I know what works for me now.. It's more comfortable having a little something 💅

Thank you Fumi!! I needed this! I recently turned 37 and I was very upset on my birthday when I couldn't rock my high heels like I used to and for the duration I used to. I even rocked high heels when I was pregnant without an issue. I was so disheartened. I have a couple of events plus a girls trip to Cancun coming up and I now have hope of maintaining fierce outfits without high heels❤️

After having an accident, I had to have knee surgery causing me to give up heels. I never really concerned myself with footwear because I was able to wear any style for any length of time without feeling any pain. Post-surgery, if the footwear is not properly constructed, my knee will feel it. Thank you for showing women like me, the different options that are still stylish and classic pieces to invest in.

It used to be a running joke that such was my love of heels, I would be buried wearing them. However the last two years of lockdowns and working from home meant that I had no call to wear high heels. I then found once the world opened back up, I just did not feel as comfortable wearing high heels. You have given me some great ideas!

Fumi, talk Abt flat/low heel for women who are heavy (250lbs.+) with flat 11 wide size feet and reasonable price. I'm 65+ Most of the shoes are round toed especially if you wear orthothoics. It is a challenge for me to find shoes & boots. Pointy toes aren't comfortable for me with wide feet. Love you & thanks for sharing your tips, Queen 🤗🥰

Thank you for sharing this with us Auntie Fumi! I'm in my late 30s and knee, ankle and back injuries make it nearly impossible for me to wear heels. I used to wear them all the time when I was younger and before I had my children. Not practical or comfortable at this point in my life. These are excellent suggestions and I'll definitely look into these the next time I'm shoe shopping.

Pointy toes also give you wicked bunions!! They hurt like hell, give you much less attractive bare feet lol, and you have to have surgery to fix it :/

I don't find point, square toe shoes attractive. Plus my second toe is longer than my big toe. Pointy toe shoes just plain hurt my feet. Fumi you would crack up at me. I can't wear flip-flops, mules, or thong sandals. I walk right out of them. I feel the ground on my feet look behind me, and the shoe is 2 steps behind me. I have to at least a back strap on my shoes.
But because I'm 5'3" I feel I appear more dressed up in high heels. Thank you for this though😊😉
I have knee problems, rolling ankles and flat feet. High heels would be the death of me. I need my plantar orthosis, fortunately shoes for them have improved a lot in design. Also can't wear pointed shoes, they cause me ingrown toenails. Always go for something that does not put pressure on the toe nails. (If you watch the Toe Bro, you understand.)
I am 72 and still try to look glam when I leave my house.
