Hey Beardsman, there are actually old cookbooks from the depression era 1930's that have skunk recipes in them. Maybe next time you can try skunk using one of those recipes lol.
Yesss! I’m Doing this challenge this weekend! I’ll be watching and taking notes! And your with the legend Jer!! Thank you for this Chris! Good to see you and Jer back at it again 🫡😊
Old-school. Chris talking, jer, the blue shirt, Multi-day survival. These videos are why I subbed long long...long ago. Also full stop. I had to stop it but restarted so as to watch from start to end
So wonderful to see the two of you back together again! I can't imagine two youtubers who are more meant to do a show together than the two of you. I wish you two could do more adventures in the future!
These videos are always so relaxing to watch. I've missed these kind of videos. I'm not a huge fan of just the ASMR videos so this was a treat to wake up to this morning. 😊
This duo is the best! i'm so happy you're making videos together again, like good old times! I watch every second of the videos with you two together. Keep it up! Respect from Georgia!
Excited for this video!!! Only a few minutes in but I had to say, in Texas, I have always used a paddle on the end of a big stick. Smack em on top of the water, they dip, and then float belly up. Scoop em in and enjoy. Haha
Battered and fried frog legs are yummy. My dad would take me as a kid frog gigging. I held the bright light to blind them while he speared em. We had 60 acres with a large pond. Great memories Fishing for quail with corn on a fishing line was another fun memory with him. Thank you for sharing your adventure.
A number of avian species, including ducks and geese, often stand on one leg to thermoregulate (control their body temperature) during cold weather by keeping more heat close to the body, the same way a person might wrap their arms around themselves
We eat those burdock stems. They are called Cardoon in Italian. First you clean them off of the hairy covering. Then you parboil them. Then you add the parboiled stems to a pancake like flour batter and fry them in oil in a frying pan in patties, or in strands till brown and slightly crispy. They are delicious. We get them every spring through summer. Best are the first of the year. The local grocery store even sells cultivated ones that are a lot bigger around Easter and Christmas which they are traditionally eaten in my Italian heritage. Look the recipe up for fried Cardoon. The stems are the best part!
48:00 OK, for the outdoor kitchen, you guys need to add a rocket stove so you can set pots on top of it to boil water. Way more efficient than the campfire + Mmmm grill for that application. Super easy to make with perlite, sand, and cement.
0:22 lol gotta love Jerr. Not just because I share that same name, but for his very honest impressions of amphibious creatures that lurk within our shadows... The damn creeps
You spear the crayfish, put him in a box, then open the box and toss his arm back in. Talk about adding insult to injury, "oh here's your arm back". lol.
These rivers look awesome, woodbeard. Neat scenery! That’s the FIRST BLUEGILL YOU’VE EVER CAUGHT!?! Dude what?? That’s all I catch since I was 10 ahahaha
crayfish can be caught is number by this method. Take one of the fish you caught earlier, the bluegill is a good one. Tie it onto a length of mono about 10ft long weight with a few split shot. Toss the fish out where you can see it when a crayfish grabs on scoop it up with the net or wait till several have the bait and scoop them up. I usually get a half gallon ziplock baggie full in a couple hours.
We call that fin and feather around here, usually deep fried cod and fried chicken, but close enough, nice to see you going back to the roots of the channel, keep it weird wood beard!
Hey I’m new to this channel but I truly love and enjoy your videos Ik it’s been hard but please don’t you ever quit thank you for all the great videos and may god bless you and your family
FYI jeremy is the only man with a braided pony tail I feel comfortable with having a braided pony tail and he always reminds me of the kroll shows pony tales sketch
Awesome video as always. Planning to do some rainbow fishing myself when it cools off. I've fished just about every saltwater and freshwater species with rod and reel, never tried bow but I will after this video. Good seeing you guys again, and thanks for the tips. I got my whole family hooked on woodobo spice lol
Got bored and tested making mead with karo syrup and molasses because it is all I had. Worked really well going to try again with a longer than 1 week fermentation but no point if it was just gonna suck. The blueberries I put in are delicious.
Man I've been watching you for years i have the same utubers i watch everyday your one of my favorites, Zac Fowler,Greg ovens , deer meat for dinner, blue Gabe, ace high adventures, mav, fields, but your one of my favorites i wish i could meet you also help you with your hard times. I pray for you and family love ya guys

Catch the crawdads with your hands, you can usually pin them down and scoop them up without getting grabbed 😂
The best type of videos!
Got bored and tested making mead with karo syrup and molasses because it is all I had. Worked really well going to try again with a longer than 1 week fermentation but no point if it was just gonna suck. The blueberries I put in are delicious.
Put an air stone in the bucket with the crawdads. You can buy cheap air pump and stone set up for 10 bucks at a pet store.
