@@TheWoodedBeardsman looking forward to seeing what ideas you have going into fall. Being from southern Ontario and not getting a chance to go up north this year, it's nice to have a way to enjoy it by watching your videos :)
Man i could watch a 4-10 hour video like this, just want to see the wilderness from your perspective, hear the sounds, hear the running water, the birds, see the sky/clouds, the flowers/mushrooms, lots of people now are spending alot of time at home isolated due to covid, these channels help alot more then you think with stress, why do you think your subs increased so much after covid
I waited patiently for this 2nd part of the video and it did not disappoint such a great video to relax to. Like I said in the 1st part there is plenty more fish in the lake and what a whopper that bass was 👍
You and Jer arethe ultimate team and I absolutely love your survival challenges! I've watched other RUclipsr's challenges and afterwards I always go and rewatch one of y'all's lol... They just don't compare to what you and Jer do... Can't express enough how great of a team you two make👍🏾
You guys make me envious. I was an outdoors person, hunting, fishing, camping, riding motorbikes, super fit then I got injured at work. I’ve gone from a body builder to filling a keg if you get the Aussie expression. I would love to be able to get out and do what you guys do but I can’t ever again possibly. I haven’t fired a rifle in years, trapped a rabbit or caught a fish let alone all the other adventures you have. I hope you can all keep it up, keep your family and friends involved where you can and stay healthy.
It might screw with your metrics, but I watch these videos in shorter 20 ish minute chunks instead of sitting for the full run time. Got the portion with the underwater camera. That was pretty entertaining stuff. Seemed like you were having a good time too :)
I thought we would have to wait all week for day 2, thanks for posting it so quickly!! How long do you typically fish a certain spot before moving on in a survival situation?? I realize every spot is different, but without any bites or signs of fish before moving is how I should have asked that question.
I really feel like if you're fishing right, fish bit right away. So if you try a spot 1 or 2 times, with nothing, then move along. Going to the 2nd lake was a wise decision. Getting stuck in one place that isn't working, isn't smart. Keep moving, keep trying different things.
@@TheWoodedBeardsman The fact that you have over 1.3 million subscribers, and you still respond to your fans is incredibly heartwarming!! Keep up the great content, my son and I love watching you and your brother's videos!!
I am smiling ears to ears for you, and your excitement... Thank you for the positive reinforcement of life. I am in the middle of an infection in my mouth. And I am living in suckviile, when I should be in Hageageville, my own world. Thank you! Hey, having your wife on sometime soon would rule! I love the opposite life yu'all are.
Heck yes episode 2 this is going to be a good day and an even better video. Nothing like starting my day off with a little wooded beardsman and Jeremy. Just like the old days of the channel!
I look forward to your videos and adventures every Tuesday and Saturday. I could listen to you ramble all day. Actually, come to think of it, I do haha. I just finished my first thing of Woodobo and I am definitely ordering 3-6 of them. My kids are picky eaters but have been getting better. However, the Woodobo has them eating our catches and trying new foods! For that, I owe you big time and thank you from the bottom of my heart. Cheers, from Philly! I think the mushrooms were kicking in at the end of the video! Talking about taking on a black bear with a hatchet!🤣 Nice bass catch btw! Oh, I didn't know Sasquatch knew Mores Code! 🤣

So word of advice with rain percentage and alot of people actually dont know this but, did you know that 12 percent actually means that 12 percent of the AREA will see rain, its not 12 percent chance of rain. i recently just learned this lol. Also, i love your vids. Even in the US at least where i live, thats still considered a pretty nice bass. . ive been watching them for like 4 hours straight and just came across your channel last night. Even in the US at least where i live, thats still considered a pretty nice bass.
Ha Ha, Jeremy @ 1:00:32. Was it a keeper? It's nice to see the underwater footage and the rocks clear of Zebra Mussels. No such luck here where I live.
Loved the video, thanks guys. Always enjoy seeing the different wild foods. South Africa as is so different. Because our climate is so different the things we forage are completely different. More edible tubers, cactus fruits the hardy greens. Plants that don't require a lot of water. We do have some wild berries and fruits but mainly during spring and when we're blessed with rain. We have to pay to hunt legally and most game is super expensive. We can However hunt guinea fowl freely. Most popular fresh water fish here would probably be tilapia. Also very common to see people eat Mopani worms that are usually dried then used in stews or eaten dry . Amaranth is very popular as a wild green and used even by those who don't forage and sold at markets. Just love comparing the different foods available. Be blessed and stay safe. 🙏
I really like your videos, so relaxing and informative. I just started a few months again going out and studying some plants, there really allot out there. Love the videos. :)
We've got a huge tradition of picking mushrooms here in Poland and as far as I know you shouldn't cut or tear apart chanterelle mushrooms before cooking because they get bitter :)

hey for a tinder set up ive got a good hack you may like. keep some toilet paper tubes around, so you can fill them with dryer lint, then fold in the ends to make like a capsule thing, then i use old candles that are bout dead to melt down and coat the whole thing to water proof it. You can either cut it dont the side and drop sparks in or just open one end and pull bits of fluff as ye go. i keep a few in a zipper bag in my trekking gear, they never fail when i need them and they are super light, and well econimical.
We cut slit down the side of a tin soda tab can. It would take the scales from buffalo and carp like warm knife cut butter. All the mess in the can. No fin pokes. In a pinch we'd use a meat commodity can. Now soda cans are flimsy aluminum. I'm sure you can use a soup can now. Cut and pour your tomato soup from the side slit and it should hold up like the old tin cans.
I saw someone the other day who nailed/screwed a beer/glass pop bottle cap to a thin piece of wood and used it as a tool to scale fish. The scales were flying off quick as anything and it could easily be manipulated round the fins and other trickier areas
Just a tip with those life straws - to make them last longer and not clog as fast - blow out the same way you suck in after each use. Love the vids - keep up the hard work
Nevertheless I see where I can learn a lot from you guys and I can add what I don't know and I can add to what I already do know thanks to you guys appreciate it much
