Siya Ram Chole Kulche and Sita Ram Diwan Chand (Paharganj) were awarded the Best Street Food in Delhi by the President of India in 1982.

I have been having these chole kulche since I was a kid so more than 45 years and the taste remains same and yummy. Even my children relish on them. Thankfully delivered now by Swiggy too.
yes me too I was born and living in lajpat nagar 2 and I have this chole kulche its the same taste and the feel of it , but only the price goes higher but since it is so good I dont even mind about the price

I’m so glad this video popped up on my algorithm. I used to spend my summers in Lajpat Nagar (Amar Colony). We would always pack the food and make our way to Lodi gardens during the weekends. As a kid I had no idea that this place was so famous. As I clicked on the video, I was waiting for the words lajpat nagar to be said and central market.
It was a different Delhi back then when there were no malls and cineplex and the places to really go were to Connaught Place or Khan market and Wimpy’s was always a treat instead of Mac D’s. Man those were the days!
