In France, perineal rehabilitation is actually prescribed after the 6-week post-natal examination. Either you consult a midwife or a physiotherapist, and then it's covered by social security.

Sarah is the best! Thank you for sharing this conversation. The one we needed to have before childbirth. Women can also have pelvic organ prolapse and incontinence issues without having a baby vaginally - some even at an early age.

My doctor told me to put lidocaine and drink a glass of wine.. i said that if i use lidocaine, i wouldn't feel anything.. he responded: it is what it is.. i ended up paying a private doctor who diagnosed me with vulvodinia

OMG, Valeria, thank you so so much for everything you and your team are doing! I wish there were more content creators like you, cos’ every time I finish a video done by you I can’t wait to get more, as it really inspires, helps with anxiety problems, and entertains as well, but clearly most importantly you create a safe space which is always positive with a bunch of though-through content! ❤ Thank you, Gary and Rachel!

Very interesting conversation :-) ❤ I loved how she said that when we are prepared and informed then it all will be ok REGARDLESS OF THE OUTCOME :-)
There are 2 other people who talk about women health, menstrual cycle, hormones etc.: Jessie Inchauspe and Dr. Mindy Pelz. They gave very interesting speaches.
Valeria (and your team) please consider inviting them (if you already havent done that) to talk with you too. I think it would fit your podcast :-)

I gave birth 5 and a half weeks ago, today my husband and I tried to have sex for the first time, but it was painful. When my stitches fell out few weeks ago, I noticed that the entrance of my vagina was narrower than before childbirth and I got scared. I didn't have any tearing, the doctor told me that it would only be 1 small stitch, but they stitched me longer and I think they stitched what they shouldn't have stitched, because my entrance to the vagina felt completely different before. I think they also "repaired" my injury after the first sex, and that's why I now have a narrower vaginal entrance. Yesterday I saw that you released this podcast, I had to listen to it today. Thank you, surely such information will help many women!🤍🙏🏻
