I think it subconsciously stems from our ancestors being taken and captured together going through the same atrocity in the bottom of that slave ship. I like this point of view, I would chime and say it has alot to do with how the system places us in society. We are the only tribe that lives in horrible overcrowded conditions with lack of resources. So when someone has more of the Resources over the majority of the others in their habitat, it becomes the zoo. Big Willy rolls around in a Benz, jewelry, and a wad of cash but he is the 1% out of those who are strung on their last and now Big Willy is the target of his community. Every other community has a equal balance of economics where they are able to share wealth through generations within their neighborhood and family. Colored folks don't have that comfortability due to the survival mindset that was forced upon them since slavery.
