Hi Chanel good morning happy Friday morning and happy holidays and I hope you having amazing day today and I loved your vlogs and you are amazing Supporter
AWESOMENESS! You are a refreshing break from your contemporaries! I learned a lot i wasn’t aware of. I'm going to Argentina this month. I was debating between BA and Mendoza. What are your thoughts on Mendoza?
Your channel just popped up on my computer. I enjoyed your content. I plan to spend a month or two exploring Argentina with the goad of moving there. You mentioned that you pay $500 USD for rent. Are you blogging from this apartment? It looks very modern, the kind of permanent residence that I would love to have1
In my most recent videos on my channel you’ll be able to see my new apartment! I also have a tour where I talk about all things house hunting and cost:)
Would you feel justified in charging foreigners visiting the US or Europe a "foreigner price" too ? (you appear to support a 2-tier pricing system). Thanks
I'm in Merida, Yucatan, México. They have multiple tier prices for local Yucatanians; Mexican nationals from outside the Yucatan peninsula, and international visitors. The same for Tren Maya. Moreover, many street venders and smaller businesses will attempt to charge foreigners a higher price.
@@Peter-m5n7m Yes, and tis type of thing discourages foreign people whose money is much needed. It contributes to a low-trust society that ultimately hurts everyone. Thanks for that info and also I don't mean to disparage the content provider, I am grateful for a well put together informative video. Thanks!
@@cooltraderf, I understand how you feel. I concur. However,I also see the point of those locations that are inundated by mobs of tourists. All these locations are doing is passing on the costs of tourism to the tourists instead of the local citizens. If their tourism begins to dwindle, I would expect them to adjust their policies. Take care and TRAVEL!
Ok, where would you tell your parents to live if they speak Spanish and want to keep their total bills at $2000/month or less ? Your parents go to sleep by 10pm so no need for nightlife. Thx !

How do you get a place for $500, when I look on Airbnb minimum seems to be ~$900 for a month
Book farther in advance of you can! I find places for like half the price that way!
@@chanelmeyerr Good advice, I notice that if you do a full month places give big discounts too
@@chanelmeyerr Do make your living there just via the RUclips channel or do you do other things as well? I'm moving there in a year or two.
@@chanelmeyerr I lived in BA for 3 months 20 years ago and will move back soon. What would living in San Telmo be like?
All you do is get a native to do your bidding get the price from a native😮
