Rift after misreading this title as Inventor I would just like to say an ASMR video from a crazed inventor showing his wonderful inventions could make for a dandy video!
As much as I understand your 'thing' is Goofy ASMR, I really love these kinds of videos the best. I dunno if it's ASMR but when I was a kid, I LOVED looking at things close up, listening to the sounds objects and toys made, examining them as well as really listening to the sounds. Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that I was born very near sighted. Anyway, these are my new favorite ASMR videos and you seem to do them the best. I love these "various object trigger" videos but with the macro shots of the objects and manipulating them. Giving us a very similar view and experience to how my childhood was exploring the world. I do hope to see much more of this type of video from ya. Keep up the amazing work.
forrest cormier I always felt that true asmr is referring to the response certain people feel for a certain stimulus. The response I am referring to is also known as tingles, or some people call it brain orgasm because it feels like waves of pleasure but it is non sexual.
One factor of your videos that is always perfect is the way that you turn them from a basic RUclips video to a Movie. The titles, way you present them, and perfectness of everything is always astounding. Brilliant job as always, keep up the work!

I was using really good surround sound headphones for this video and I actually LOOKED UP TO CHECK THE CLOCK BUT I LOOKED AND I REMEMBERED THAT I DON'T HAVE AN ANALOG CLOCK IN MY ROOM IT WAS JUST THE VIDEO... either way great vid!
I think one of the contributions to why this is such a good ASMR vid to come back to is the lack of speech making the impression that he'a focus/absorbed into doing the things he did (especially when he writes). From what I hear a lot of people can feel ASMR from hearing and looking at someone focusing on a (certain) task.

Considering about 10% of people are left handed and about another 30% or so are mixed handed, that's no surprise given that means 700+ million people write with their left hand and another 2.1 billion or so might do so. Though I'm personally not one of them despite falling in the latter ~30% (likely due to the fact that my mother was ambidextrous) I'm sure there are those that do. Even likelier in this case given he's male and males tend to be left handed more often than females.
And I gotta say, these types of ASMR videos are the best, the ones where the ASMRtist isn't trying to make everything quite and stuff, they are just doing normal everyday stuff that people get triggered by. Fantastic work :)
Big Al I don't actually have tingles but most of the time can sleep to ASMR. But my sleep schedule was off by quite a few hours.. stayed awake after midnight, and now it's 8:30AM. ;-; Wonder when I'll finally drop.
I've always liked the sound of a rolling hotwheels/toy cars rolling across a wooden table, or surfaces with similar textures. Would've never thought that it'd allude to the day I discover ASMR to realize that it's a pretty darn good trigger.

I love old diary looking books like that. Gave me a lot of tingles. Looks like something that would have some classified information about the facility and its patients in it.

The sound of the sponge scrubbing reminded me of when I used to draw lines back and forth or circles with markers on paper as a child; but I'd hold like 3 at a time and they'd make a similar sound ... Strange but ohhhh so pleasant.

Your videos are often like movies to me. It's sort of a different take on the idea though. They allow you to think rather than tell you what to think, while still have some sort of theme/direction.

At 35:32, the image jerked, which I thought might have been something added, but it was just the picture jumping up and to the right. I think, anyway. I couldn't stop on the exact frame, even with .25 speed.
I managed to do it. I think he purposely distorted a frame. The exposure is way up, creating dark and light patches. There is also a large tint of red to it; almost demonic. Just start at 35:32 and keep double clicking the pause button while in 0.25 speed until you pause on the demonic frame.
I like the fixed focus and the shallow depth of field for these videos. I think you must have put together a new camera set up recently.... looks great! You are a man of many talents and ridiculous imagination!
