What is ASMR?
ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response and is the current (non-scientific) name given to the feeling characterized as a pleasurable tingling sensation felt in the head, scalp, back and other regions of the body in response to visual, auditory, tactile, olfactory, and/or cognitive stimuli, such as crinkling bags, hand movements, whispering and personal attention.
ASMR videos are not only meant to help induce ASMR or "tingles", but also help provide a relaxing, calming and soothing experience for the viewer while helping to relieve their anxiety, stress, insomnia, to help those suffering with PTSD or depression, to serve as a study aid and more.

This channel is seriously becoming an art gallery. The amount of characters, scenes, intriguing stories, and technical achievements are all outstanding. One of the most amazing channels on youtube, not just ASMR channels, but all together. Seriously love the amount of curiosity each character brings, though I do have to say Doctor/Chef Corvus is my favorite ;).

Yes! I disappear from RUclips for a couple weeks and when I come back my all time favourite asmr series has updated! The Repairman is my go-to for when nothing else can give me tingles - it's foolproof.

You can fell the profession oozing from the screen! The repair man in my opinion is the best seirese on the channel. I have never gotten as many tingles from watching an ER video! You did a great job with this vid and I consider it to be the pinnacle of the channel. Well done!
Coming back after two years, I still really like the use of the shutter in the beginning. The way it’s done makes me feel like I’m really opening my eyes, and the camera movement is very engaging. Makes me feel like I’m a robot who’s head is being moved around. Or is that too far fetched? 🤖

I’ve been a long time viewer and despite not commenting much I just need to mention that this is my favorite series of yours and I so badly hope it returns at some point!
Seeing as this is a character reboot, and I adore ER's work, and also this is my FAVORITE character...after watching all of the Repairman videos I have my own personal headcanon I thought I'd share, as is my love for this art. Here I go: The Repairman was a regular man who was for hire by Professor Clemmonds. Not to abnormal compared to the others in the Rift. However, in Repairman 2, after discovering hidden files on the machine he was working on, he began to be VERY suspicious. He knew the Professor was working on something. After he finished that specific job, the Repairman began side projects on researching Clemmonds, and Arkham Sanitarium. As he studied the Rift, he began to lose himself due to the obsession. Soon he had become senile, focusing more and more on the Professor than his own health. This shows as he begins to delusionally talk to the machines, some emotionless, later on. He soon begins talking to objects in the house, quickly losing his mind. It wasn't long before, due to concern, someone had called the Professor to give him a look. His work had become sloppy. Once the Repairman heard of Clemmonds looking for him, he went into hiding. He began to worry. Before the Professor found him, the Repairman wrote one final memo, before his mind was fully lost, on his tape measurerer: "Don't trust the Professor" (as seen in the Christmas party). Clemmonds had him come stay at the Sanitarium, where the now deluded Repairman slaves away, working for the Professor once again, with no objection, no defiance, and no sanity left to say no. He no longer works on just machines. One minute he's on an actual job, but later he could be trying to use a wrench on the paper towel rack! All that matters is he keeps working, because it's all he knows how to do anymore.....What do you think?

Excellent use of camera effects and costume to make the repairman look like a very busy worker. Gets me more immersed into the video which makes it more relaxing to me

I got an idea for a future Repairman video by seeing this episode:
What about changing the camera angle, so that we can see the Repairman repairing (lol) from a 3rd person view, like above him and from the side.
This way he wouldnt actually look at the viewer but there would still be the same repertoire of sounds and the attention focused on random obejctives.

Eli Rush Rift does all of his own makeup, prop making, and effects. The only things he didn't make (to my knowledge) are the masks he's used for Corvus, which he purchased himself.

There seems to be a glitch in the middle of hte video, at about 21:10 the video freezes and refuses to load any more, i have to skip ahead a few seconds to finish the video.
