I've been thinking about this for a while now... My wife tells me to put the subject down, but it is difficult to do so. They share a lower half, each woman controlling half the body. No matter how you frame it, the husband would be lying with two women at once. Legally, the ladies are separate individuals with their own driving licences, etc. Given this, wouldn't any church or even the law refuse to marry the couple? Wouldn't it be a case of bigamy? I remember my own viws instructing me to "forsake all others," etc and as a legally binding contract it is taken seriously. I think their entire lives have been a complex navigation and so this isn't as complicated for them, as it is for everyone else. God loves them both and miraculously works this all out in ways that we can't even understand for the three of them. Being a scientist, you do question these things, but after a while, it just becomes a task of negotiating the variables and constants that you were given to balance the equation. These are burning questions I've had since the moment I heard this news. I couldn't see them doing anything other than IVF or simply remain with the stepdaughter situation only, if they wanted things to remain as fair as possible. To conceive naturally and leave it up to fate means Brit has 50/50 chance being the technical mother and how is that fair at all? I suppose ultimately these are things for the parties involved to iron out...but no matter how you slice it, no one can deny how absolutely multi-layered and complicated this issue is, given human nature.

No it's not weird. This is how God created them. Their parents raised them just as any other parent raises their children. They're educated, lead productive lives and have a lot of wonderful friends. The same situation is actually with Carmen and Lupita. Carmen being the dominant one and having a boyfriend. But it is way more difficult because Lupita is asexual. - The twins were on TV shows from early youth so it is quite normal to take an interest in their lives. Their special condition brings up many questions. What if one wanted to get separated but the other disagreed? What if one wants to marry but the other disagrees? If they get pregnant, who is the mother? What if one wants a baby but the other disagrees? What if Brittany fell in love with another man and wanted to marry as well?

I have so many questions. Not about the marriage or personal stuff. Salaries, taxes, social security, retirement. They are 2 separate people, but they can’t be in 2 places at once. I have watched them their wholes lives, well each time they braved the media circus. They are both normal intelligent women in their own right and if thats what they want and both choose I am happy for them. There are some terribly cruel people out here in the world, and opening their lives up to the likelihood of a boat load of abuse is just something I'd never want to see or support. These two ladies have clearly had the absolute best parents and support system throughout their lives. It's wonderful that they've been able to carve out a happy, well adjusted life for themselves. I couldn't be any happier for them. Also, as a nurse with a compassionate heart, but also a realistic understanding of the various health issue that could present themselves, my wish is that her husband, who's also a nurse, is going into this with his eyes wide open. While no marriage is all champagne and roses, this marriage will undoubtedly be presented with a whole set of unique challenges not faced by most. But it is way more difficult because Lupita is asexual. - The twins were on TV shows from early youth so it is quite normal to take an interest in their lives. Their special condition brings up many questions. What if one wanted to get separated but the other disagreed? What if one wants to marry but the other disagrees? If they get pregnant, who is the mother? What if one wants a baby but the other disagrees? What if Brittany fell in love with another man and wanted to marry as well?

I'm so glad to hear these girls are living the lives they want to, which would be as normal to them as it would for us. I have watched them their wholes lives, well each time they braved the media circus. They are both normal intelligent women in their own right and if thats what they want and both choose I am happy for them. They are are as entitled as anyone one of us to make the ordinary, every day decisions such as getting married.
I'd love to see some more doco type shows, not reality TV (its basically rubbish TV that never ends well for anyone that I know of) about the girls. Only because I have watched them grow up. I don't think either would really want to share their lives with the world again. They most likely want to get on with life as normally and anonymously as they possibly can, now they are adults. I recall both of them saying as much, even when they were much younger. I do understand that appearing on TV would be extremely profitable for them and as the girls only earn one wage as teachers money might be the thing that gets them back on our screens. No to a reality show just for the simple fact that these type shows tend to be horribly toxic even under the best of circumstance. There are some terribly cruel people out here in the world, and opening their lives up to the likelihood of a boat load of abuse is just something I'd never want to see or support. These two ladies have clearly had the absolute best parents and support system throughout their lives. It's wonderful that they've been able to carve out a happy, well adjusted life for themselves. I couldn't be any happier for them. Also, as a nurse with a compassionate heart, but also a realistic understanding of the various health issue that could present themselves, my wish is that her husband, who's also a nurse, is going into this with his eyes wide open. While no marriage is all champagne and roses, this marriage will undoubtedly be presented with a whole set of unique challenges not faced by most. It's going to require a constant open line of real and raw communication, understanding, patience and love from all parties involved. I wish them all nothing but the very best, now and always. 💞🙏
