It is a fantastic turn 1 that frequently sees 4+ cars wide trying to fit into an exit that only fits a couple cars at best. Add in that everybody is braking late with the uphill approach and it's just a great corner.

Ferrari already knows that next year the tires will be different. In the US GP, the teams will use a free practice just to test these new tires, and it will be an opportunity for that with this engine that will be used and with the current chassis with the new floor that debuted in Japan, to check if they can make the leap from cat to 2023.
The US, Mexico, Brazil and Abu Dhabi GPs have to be a laboratory for Mercedes to test components for the 2023 car, the result in those final 4 races of 2022 does not matter as this championship is already over. It is expected by everyone in F1 that Mercedes will have a strong reaction in 2023 and be the main challenger for Red Bull.

The W14 has to have low drag, more efficient floor and ground effect, good tire management, minimal weight, efficient traction out of all corners, good braking and brake management.

what he means is that the finish line is just at the start of the straight, so having a 'great' exit isn't that crucial since you aren't trying to go the fastest on the straight. so drivers sacrifice exit speed for better apex speed
