Magnussen was something special in this race. Really was.
1:02 When Vettel started to brake, he was more focused on Raikkonen and probably didn't saw Lewis at all. His braking point and cornering speed was just fine to take the corner alone, but suddenly Hamilton appeared next to him. Vettel was forced to go on a much tighter line which he couldn't take with a car in front of him. Note that something similar happend to Hamilton into Turn 1 at 0:42...
btw. im not saying it was Hamiltons fault in any way, i just think there was not much Vettel could have done once he was on the inside with Lewis next to him
Peter Lustig If you run the race highlights (ruclips.net/video/9d1ppvK9npY/видео.html) and pause it at 0:54 just as Seb gets onto the apex, the understeer has already started. Lewis gave him room but you'll see Seb's not following the same line as Kimi. If he had, he wouldn't have hit Lewis.. At worst he would have exited the chicane in 3rd place!

Look! at 0:45, Vettel did the same thing as what Hamilton did at turn 4-5, Vettel was in the middle of the track. But Hamilton managed turn in more so he won't crash into Vettel while Vettel just stuck with his turning input and didn't adjust. I don't know how Vettel think it's Hamilton's fault...

That is the weakest hit I've ever seen from Hartley's suspension, does Toro Rosso really have featherweight suspensions compare to the rest of the team's suspensions? Poor Brenden his luck is completely unfair.
You don't need a heavy hit to get shit real when you touch tires in just the wrong spots.
In this case the typical slight camber means the contact occurs first in the lower sidewall, and Hartley was slightly ahead so when the tires grab each other his wheel instantly compresses and rebounds from the floor saturating suspension and destabilizing the wheel, preceding complete failure.

you can move under braking if you leave a car width space when you go off the line. valteri moved under braking in china when Daniel overtook him aswell.
Moving under braking is allowed again. It is just that you need to give enough room. That was clearly not the case here, no matter what Verstappen says. His reasoning is that the green strip of asphalt is part of the track. That is not correct. The white line is part of the track, but that is where it ends, thechnically.
I don't think the issue is about moving, the issue is clearly from crushing into the car beside you... Although he was in front, bottas had more than half a car width besides him... You can't squeeze more than you should in that regard.
Some of these moves are ridiculous.

@@PreciselyTuned no seems to me he was getting slowed down, remeber the merc is alot faster so it may seem like a dive bomb even though it wasn't. Next max went to the inside bottas left slip stream went to the outside came along side max who then decides he no longer wants to defend the outside line and starts squeezing bottas who was already along side. A big no no, max should have stayed on his line instead of trying to run the merc off track.
You are allowed to move back to the racing line as long as you leave a car's width of space for the other. So if he broke any rule, that's it. His move wasn't illegal, but how much he moved was
Brundle was right about the Haas gearbox having a very clean sound when shifting. Some of the gearboxes on the other cars have a clunky sound when upshifting.

According to AMG Chief Strategist; Monza has the widest pit lane, giving it 3 lanes and Vettel's release (in the middle lane) was close BUT legal.
Am i the only one who think Bottas would never make that corner clear?? Its true Verstappen goes to the left but the speed of Bottas was way to fast for that corner.
He was braking way too late. That is why the penalty was harsh. Bottas was just as much responsible. But mercedes and ferrari drivers definitely get away with more shit than others.

Verstappen avoids a possible crash with bottas he has to use his joker. verstappen leaves room for bottas but hit him by accident when going back to the left while bottas would never pass him from there. and they hand the position to bottas. by giving max a penalty and robbing us viewers from a battle between max and valteri because valteri doesnt has to overtake him. Its also almost always investigated after the race or 30 laps after an incedent. but if its verstappen they give the penalties faster than bottas could start in austria last year.

Monza, one of the best circuits for racing.
Given Mag's corner cuts were on the first lap, his tyres may not have been able to take the corners safely yet. Cutting and dropping back in where he was may have been the better option if his tyres weren't going to make the corner for him. He was pulling out of the turns almost right away, what you'd expect from a seasoned driver who feels immediately that his tyres won't grip.
