Better yet, to feed that schizophrenia. Foreign actors are infiltrating social media to enlarge these ideas of conspiracy to undermine our freedom and democracy. Think about that. Furthermore, the “mainstream media” is keeping us unaware of the real problems. The real issues of class divide is truly the real problem. All this culture war shit wouldnt matter if our economic situation was solid. Everybody is being played, right and left. This is not Some communist manifesto, but the rich have way too much power.

Some years back I was at an open mic in Gettysburg, PA. A tourist came in and asked the host if she could play "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down." She didn't know it, but I did. Now I am a man of faith (as best I can be) and I don't go in for ghosts or supernatural phenomena -- I know better than to mess with that -- but I swear to you, as I was singing that song, I got the distinct impression that the spirits of young men on both sides came close to listen. Paper patching was the absolute best way to achieve accuracy in the black powder days. Rifling in the barrel does not deform the bullet, or leave marks even. The kicker is that the bore of the barrel has be large enough for the bullet to drop through without the paper. The 2200 yard shot is improbable, but possible.

    • @jamesbumgardner1469
      @jamesbumgardner1469 2 года назад +12

      @@AnoopTony contrary to common thought bullets are pretty resistant to deforming, thats why we have to modify their design with things like hollow points or serations to help facilitate controlled deformation, or more accurately expansion. A round that mushrooms will impart far more kinetic energy than one that doesn't, this increases lethality and limits risk of over penetration. These designs have a higher ballistic coefficient though and see limited use in precision shooting due to the adverse effects. A solid tip like on a full metal jacket round will fly faster and lose less velocity than a hollow point counterpart. This limits the amount of time and effect outside variables like wind can adversely influence the trajectory. Being a steel cored fully jacketed round though makes them extremely resilient to deformation unless they strike a surface harder than them and of enough weight to allow sufficient kinetic energy transfer. We've pulled 7.62x39mm, 7.62x54r, and .556 rounds out of earthen berm backstops that first passed through 1/4" steel plates that showed little more than surface scratches. Had plenty with bend tips too, which could probably be reworked back into usable shape if they absolutely had to be. The whole premise is a bit far fetched in the movie, but it is plausible with him being a precision shooter (likely using a solid round) shooting at a tin can of beef stew with an earthen backstop (limited potential for deformation). The odds of it all coming together are just incredibly long.
