Love the table, but not the glaze. IMO with a light pink primary, the glaze looks like it was dragged through dirt. But I love that foil does the design.

I absolutely love this!!! I wish I could recreate some of these looks, with just paint And epoxy. I really am not a fan of the rock edge, but with this, it is perfect. Love your choice in the foil and the glaze as well.

Love this!! Even easier way to do my floors!! Could you do this over tile, provided you filled the grout lines, leveled etc?
You could but you would make sure you use a durable product on top made specifically for floors.
My preference is a gloss finish. I just like shine!

Are light colored foil projects like this one subject to yellowing/ambering?
Ambering and yellowing aren’t the same thing. Yellowing is caused by the epoxy reacting with an additive. Ambering is the natural color change that happens to all epoxy over time. I did a clear coat over a white foil over 8 years ago and it looks absolutely amazing still. Very very slight color change. You can barely notice.
Can I use this foil on top of an old 80s formica bathroom vanity top, and if so what do you recommend I use to prime or undercoat before applying the adhesive, foil, etc?
You most definitely can. You’ll want to sand and use a bonding primer first then paint with whatever color you want the base under the foil.
I saw someone ask about using this in a shower on the wall. You had said “yes.” So will this work on a shower surround if you use an a primer? What do you seal it with? I have never used epoxy and I imagine I wouldn’t want to start with a vertical surface like a wall. Any tips?
Our shower is foil with epoxy over the top. You apply the foil and pour the epoxy on insulation foam board while flat then install once the epoxy is cured. I have several videos showing how to fabricate shower panels. Give us a call if you have any questions. 😊

Can you use UTC on this
Yes. It shows me applying UTC at the end of the video. You can also go straight over the foil if you choose.
Yes I want to go right over the foil with the UTC. my countertop has been resined a while ago and I can’t stand the ambering . It’s been 7 yrs and when I did it SCC didn’t have the art coat so I used the original resin. Sooo I want to foil then use the top coat. No resin.
@@cheryllicata4198 you can but you would have much better protection and durability with a cost of epoxy.
I did my counter top with stone coat and it came outso good I surprised myself. I sold my house and thebyers took out the counter I wish I could have taken it with me sad 😢
How durable will this be? without epoxy..
Foils must have some sort of topcoat because the foil is incredibly thin. If you plan on using it as a table or high traffic piece, I highly advise to put epoxy.
