You're most welcome~! Glad you liked it~ All the best with the building blocks! You could even make it into a puzzle chop where ur bro can match the pieces up into a big complete chop~! *idea blings* hahaha XD
Thank you ^_^ All you need is normal scissors and any blade then use anything that is stable enough to hold when you chop doesn't have to be wood blocks ya~ Happy crafting~!
Most welcome! ^_^ Don't worry bout the wood blocks, you can use anything solid and flat at home as long as it's flat and you're able to grab on ;) Happy crafting!
Thanks for sharing. This look so much easy to make than a eraser blok. But i have concern about the foam going flat after many use. Probably going to be flat. How thick should the foam be for longer use?
Hi there~! I'm not sure how long the foam will last if you're planing on long term use... I've only use them occasionally and still good so far... this project is more for fun varieties as its easy to make... :)
Haha... Thanks for the concern but no worries, the video is speed up so viewers don't have to waste too much time watching me cut... In actual its slower in a safe speed. 😁
Hi~ Thanks~ Glad you liked it ^_^ I occasionally clean mine with alcohol swab but normally i just chop a few times on an unwanted paper to clear off excess ink before keeping it away... :)
I guess there must be some serious culture differences around the world cause it's called "cutting" here instead of "carving" when we cut along a line instead of repeatedly carve on a block to make a specific shape in 3D.
Hi there! You can use any wood or doesn't even have to be wood, basically you just need something with a flat surface to stick the cutout foam and sturdy enough for you to hold on and stamp. 😊
If it's just for fun or short usage perhaps you can try using cardboards or look around your household for something that holds a thickness around 2-3mm and cuttable. May be a bit more limited on the design tho as harder materials may be harder to cut to fine designs. Hope this helps~!
In my country (Malaysia) can find them in Daiso shops... If not you should be able to find ink pads from stationary shop/department in stores. As for blocks yiu may try your local craft store or replace it with anything steady and flat that you can stick ur foam onto. Hope this helps 😊
Hi Sarah~ I got mine from Daiso (not sure if it's the same at your place). But you can use anything in replacement actually... Box... Eraser... plastic block... the idea is just something flat and solid enough so that you can stick the foam on and hold on to when you chop :)
I guess it all depends on the design, the usage, purpose and time. Everything has its pros and cons so its up to us to decide which best fit our need. If you feel carving suits ur design then by all means carve away! Happy crafting 😁

@@89149 most welcome :)
after trying a few things out, I’d recommend thicker foam for long term use or hot gluing two layers, as the hot glue would make it sturdier.

How did you made it easily?
A good pair of scissors helps 😚 hehe
No carving required- proceeds to carve 😂
I guess there must be some serious culture differences around the world cause it's called "cutting" here instead of "carving" when we cut along a line instead of repeatedly carve on a block to make a specific shape in 3D.
What do you call this type of material again?
Hi~! It's called EVA Foam, some call it foam paper or foam craft sheets. We can usually find it in stationary stores or arts & crafts store 😊
Awesome! Can i know what video editor you use?😊💐
Thank you 😊❤ I'm using Corel VideoStudio X10 for my video editing.

What kind of wood should i use?
Hi there! You can use any wood or doesn't even have to be wood, basically you just need something with a flat surface to stick the cutout foam and sturdy enough for you to hold on and stamp. 😊
What can I use instead of foam paper? I don't have it and it's lockdown
If it's just for fun or short usage perhaps you can try using cardboards or look around your household for something that holds a thickness around 2-3mm and cuttable. May be a bit more limited on the design tho as harder materials may be harder to cut to fine designs. Hope this helps~!
Where can I find ink and wood blocks?
In my country (Malaysia) can find them in Daiso shops... If not you should be able to find ink pads from stationary shop/department in stores. As for blocks yiu may try your local craft store or replace it with anything steady and flat that you can stick ur foam onto. Hope this helps 😊
Where can i get those wood blocks....
Anything can be used instead of this ??
Hi Sarah~ I got mine from Daiso (not sure if it's the same at your place). But you can use anything in replacement actually... Box... Eraser... plastic block... the idea is just something flat and solid enough so that you can stick the foam on and hold on to when you chop :)
I’ve heard of a powdery ink for stamps, but the ink you used at the end, was it normal ink, powdery in or just black paint?
Hi~! The ink i used is just normal ink ya ^_^
that's good and easy😀
Thank you... Glad you liked it ^_^
that’s a nice idea
kittles Thank you~ Glad you like it 😊
wouldnt it be better to cut out the little holes first
That's a good suggestion! Ur right... Next time I shall cut the holes first XD
Yes but NO! Using scissors is more difficult than carving besides you can't do small and curvy design without getting into carving still.
I guess it all depends on the design, the usage, purpose and time. Everything has its pros and cons so its up to us to decide which best fit our need. If you feel carving suits ur design then by all means carve away! Happy crafting 😁
I would really appreciate you
Thank you so much~! That means a lot :)
