My room has lots of echoe, will this be good enough for it? Also can I get affiliate link for amazon India for it (yes available in India). My room very little I get heavy echo. Wanna avoid that pls reply ASAP.
I just ordered this based upon watching this. It is arriving tomorrow and I can't wait to give it a try. I loved what I heard from your review. Thanks
Awesome stuff, thanks for the kind words and I hope you enjoy it. It's a very cool little system and the price is very good as well.
I never knew you had a camera channel man! Thanks for the video!
Appreciate the video and would also love to see you include a test with instruments and vocals
Excellent review, fantastic pacing, super informative! Love it
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great video thank you. We’re in Bangkok atm and these are going for just over £100.
It was between rode wireless go ii and the new DJI but tbh for £100 new and what you get it just blow the other 2 out of the water.
Love wireless audio. So excited about Saramonica Blink 500 release at the end of Sept in AUS
Seems to be a very good mic and I'm about to buy it, but the version with just one mic (S1). My only concern is the durability of the battery over time.
I trust the brand. I've been using Boya BY M1 mics for years and never had a problem. But sometimes 6 mts of cable are uncomfortable to manage.
Thank you so much for the review!
Excellent video great production very well informed on the product made all the difference for someone that wants to purchase it!
Many thanks! :)
Incredible images. Very good review.
Great review, thank you! I am about to buy a set with USB-C receiver for Android.
Obrigado pelo vídeo e pelos testes, me ajudou, comprei um.
Saudações do Brasil.
Thanks for the clear review. I bought one and it's excellent.
Bro please tell me, can this microphone beat any condenser microphone?
Great review. I’m ordering one right now. Cheers mate 🤙
Thanks, Brad. This pack is really good, I hope you enjoy it.
Hello I enjoyed very much your Lumix GH5 M2 video, very informative. Have you tried the PicoMic 2 from picogear mics yet? they are much smaller and looks that they are very good as well
Awesome review!! Thanks, man!
Impressive system. Certainly gives the Rode Wireless Go II a run for it's money, especially at nearly 100$ less. Well done BOYA.
Great review, i'm convinced to buy one, thanks..
Brilliant video presentation, sharp to the point, well illustrated points. As a non or new wireless mic chap, it was superb. I am now off to buy one using your links below. Question, is it possible to set up more than 2 mics? If I want 4 mics as I have 4 people talking on an out door tour, I guess I need another system. Thank you.
It's a two pack maximum. You could rig up a dual 3.5mm audio adapter. Check to see if Saramonic has any wher you can plug in 2 x 3.5mm cables and mix that into the camera. Some cameras have 4 channels of audio but you'll still need an adapter to run two packs.
Hi! thanks for the great review! Just have a question: does the low and high pass filter actually apply when it is connected to a lavalier or headset, or is it applied only to the internal microphone? I was also wondering this for other similar mics like wireless go
Great review Shane!
I know you have reviewed other wireless systems in the past, like for example the Holly land 150 about 6 months ago. But I am wondering, if you still have a lot of wireless kits still, I am thinking that you could someday do a "meta"-review where you compare all the systems. And provide your conclusions 👍🙂. While that is giving you even more to do 🙄 it was just an idea that might be helpful. My work bought me a Hollyland, I have bought a Boya shotgun and Deity V Lav myself.
I'd like to see this too!
I have about 6 packs left. I sold a few to cover costs but I'll do a comparison with what I have coming up :)
Great review!
Great review! It made me buy one :)
May I please have link to the charge cable you are talking about. And does it take the same amount of time to charge? Thanks in advance.
Hello. I'm interested in the adapter you mentioned in your video that allow you to charge from USB to USB C x3. Thank you in adavance
Thanks for your review. I note that you have reviewed Saramonic Blink Pro 500 and Rode Go II as well. Keen to know how would you rate them comparative to each other? Look forward to your response.
This is a solid unit. The Rode Wireless is the most complete in terms of features but the Saramonic is the one I use the most and has far better battery life than the Rode. This is right there with the Saramonic in terms of features and quality but without the full features of the Rode Wireless Go II
If you have a 3 into 1 charger, isn't the charge spilt 3 ways (takes x3 as long to charge)? Very impressed - in the UK you can buy a set for £149 - and the 7 hour battery life is very good!
Thanks for the comprehensive review. I was planning to get an XM6 -S1, whats the difference between S1 and S2, if that.
Thank you for sharing the video
I’m planning on using mics for my Sony camera, but I also want to plug that receiver into my iPhone, and I’m noticing that it doesn’t actually have any lightning adapters which is odd to me given todays phone types. I’m assuming a simple 3.5mm to light night adapter would do the trick?
Cual es la diferencia con BY XM6 S2 mini? Es solo tamaño o también hay diferencia en calidad?
Hello, I want to ask if the frequency is experiencing interference when used in a wifi room, or an environment with lots of wifi. Thank you.
Hi mate great review, but can you do a review on that Dji dual wireless mic set, as I am sitting on the fence about that.
I'll see what I can do :)
SOLD! Cheers from Fiji.
I bought this the other day and was hoping you'd do a review. Great work as always. I feel this pack is great value. I already have the Rode Wireless Go 2 and was looking for another system as a backup or for when I needed to mic up more than two people.
How do you mic up more than 2 people with different mics ?
@@servtheking5245 I primarily mic up 3 to 4 people in my live streams. I use the Rode receiver/transmitters on one camera and the Boya receiver/transmitters on another camera. They work fine together. You could also bring both receivers into an audio recorder. I even use breakout cables sometimes to specifically tweak the individual mics to their appropriate levels in my Zoom H6/F6.
does it compare to rhode?
@Yoram Pohl I use the Boya more because I prefer the physical controls on these and don't require, for my non professional needs, the backup recording which the Rode offers.
HI, can you try Sony ecm-w2bt. Has difference?
Thank you for the wonderful review. Can you please tell the name of the background soundtrack?
What budget lavalier would you recommend for this kit over the the one provided..? Thanks
Good review! You mentioned recording bands. Have you done this? Do you recommend a wireless mic that could record loud bands in bars?
Your best bet is a quality stereo on camera mic for loud bands. The stereo spread will be a lot more consistent that way.
I'm looking for a mic for my go pro just for vlogging/ travel reasons. We are not professionals and just want watchable holiday videos for memories
Would you suggest the synco or boya?
I was originally looking at dji and Rode but they are a little pricey and people still find issues with them...
I like the synco but watched a video about how if the mute Button gets pressed you don't really realise until after
Is there no indication anywhere even on the mic if its on mute?
Thank you! Based on your review I have purchased this great product. Can you please tell me what is the name of the soundtrack playing in the background?
Cheers!
It's just one of the free RUclips tunes from their library. I can't remember which one it is, sorry.
I bought the newer version and it's unbelievible the quality for the price.
Great Video! can you send me the link for the usb to triple usb c charger?
I have the S1. Yet have to test it. One missed opportunity is the lack of a charging stand. The Tx an Rx are prepared for this, so why don’t supply it. The pouch will certainly give scratches on the housing.
This looks great. Do you know if I can send 1 stereo source from 1 transmitter to 2 or more receivers?
I would like to use this system as a separate mix wireless monitor system to receive click track to the receiver for music performance for myself and another. Basically reversing its purpose, i want to use 2 receivers getting the same source from 1 transmitter.
Hope that makes sense! I appreciate it!
Cheers!
I think it's point to point only.
Hey, where do you find that cable with three usb-C ends? How do write it in search section?
Hi Geeky! Thanks for the review. I've purchased the same mic and my experience with it so far is that it captures a lot of background noise. Do you have any suggestion on this?
Turn the gain of the mic down and position it correctly so it's facing away from any other noise. The mic gain will make a difference
Can I connect it via a USB C to USB C cable, directly to my phone where there is no 3.5 mm socket, only a USB C socket?
hey mate - how does this compare to the Saramonic Blink 500 b2?
Can you assign the 2 TXs to different L/R channels?
Can i use this for hybrid online plus offline trainings on live video with a co trainer ? Is it lag free for online streaming video
So is there a way to just use this to record something even while you're not recording video? Besides plugging it into a board
Please do a review of DJI NEW WIRELESS MIC
how can I use this mic for Samsung s21 ultra. which adapters i need?
Rode and DJI wireless mics allows recording directly into the receiver. Does the Boya have that function as well?
Not this one no.
Why you didn't tell about audio level of the camera and external mic ?
which is best BOYA BY-XM6 S2 or Maona wm820 a2
Getting too much AC noise in iphone , what setting do we do ?
@Geeky Nerdy Techy
Boya By-Xm6 S2 Or Synco G2 A2 ?
Which one would you suggest in the price point ?
And is there anything else you would suggest in the same or less price point ?
The Boya is a bit more straight forward, but they both perform really well. I think the noise floor on the Boya is also a bit better.
@@GeekyNerdyTechy from a professional video creator stand point suggest me one 🥲
Can we use it on insta 360 one r ?
Nice review. Can you connect RX via USB to a PC? Will it detect it as a recording source to use it for calls etc?
I don't think that works on this one mate sorry.
Were you be able to find a solution for this @Tony Kayo?
Is it compatible with Insta360 One RS?
Thank you Jason Statham sir for this awesome review. I kicked Rode Mic 2 and DJI mic after watching this.
😂 Jason! ahaha
HOW DO I GET THAT 3 in 1 cable ????
Is there internal recording
Is the microphone better than Synco g2 a1
Please guide me?
I want to purchase but I am confuse in between these mics
I like the sound quality of the Boya more than the Synco but the Synco has better range.
Sir why doesn’t work insta one x2?
Does that have a mic input?
Can we connect it to the iphone?
I wonder which channel started first: this one, or the guitar one? :D
The other one by about 10 years. lol
@@GeekyNerdyTechy both are great content to watch! Cheers!!! 👊🏻
Thanks Can this system record internally lihe rode go Ii?
No, it doesn't record internally.
is it compatible with IOS? iphone 11 pro and above?
This or the Comica Vimo C?
Can I buy tho for my Nikon d3500 with no mic input?
No. You will need another solution like a zoom recorder and Lav mic.
Which one you think better between Boya BY XM6 or Synco G2?
They are both pretty similar packs. I have a wrap up/comparison video of all of them planned for next month.
good
❤
Tanx men , very good
Are you going to review the DJI WIRELESS MIC ??
Not at the moment but I’ll see what I can do.
👍
I have heard that boya xm6 s2 is really prone to wifi router signals and the audio is disturbed when using indoors with wifi signals.
can anyone confirm plz.
plz
This unit works fine. Unless you're standing next to a 2.4ghz router, you will be fine. All of these units can potentially have complications within 1-2m of wifi routers.
@@GeekyNerdyTechy yea i bought it a month ago for my wife's channel. it works fine even near routers etc. Thanks 👍 your review was very good. .
Rose is way ahead in terms of audio Quality
Does it record also
This pack doesn't record.
@@GeekyNerdyTechy Thank you so much my friend great review
Is this usable for Iphone ?
No, unless you have an older one with a TRRS (mic/headphone jack)
It sounds better clipped on than using the lavellier. hmm...
btw i went with the godox movelink because it came with a box that charges all 3 units at the same time.
Yep, it's a wider-range mic. The Lav mic is probably made to a price.
@@GeekyNerdyTechy keep up the good work in your channel.. very informative. Thank you.
@@fed02 you can get this in a version with a charging box, it's about $50AUD more expensive!
Boya sounds better
The Transporter with a wireless microphone :D
deckard shaw reviewing mics ?? hmmm times are hard
