My 9 year old Eureka will pack to the size of a 1L bottle but the 2 poles are long like the Cabela's. I camped a couple weeks ago and now keep the poles in my back pack. Also found I need a warmer mattress🥶 2 doors would be handy. Wow lots of thought went into that with all the loops and pouches. Looks like a giant dewy tent spider web😁
Bought the Tiger Wall UL2 Bikepacking tent and 3 Bikepack as well. Ironically both weighed the same packed. 2lbs 8oz. Keeping the 3 for the extra space. Real world tests soon. And cream ales are great but Three Sheets make a great Vanilla Porter in Port Elgin, ON and OMG is it good!! Keep riding!
I have the regular Tiger Wall UL2 that I purchased for backpacking and possibly bikepacking. It’s a tight fit for two people but a great tent. I like the light weight and small packability for the motorcycle too. Thanks! Great video.
Loving your videos man! The attention to detail, great observations and the convertions to the metric system for us EU viewers are greatly appreciated! Keep up the good work!
I get it. You hammock guys are true believers. I can’t do it. Tried it many times and just sleep like crap. I also travel through various terrain all over the country. There’s been many times were the places I’ve stayed didnt have trees I could’ve hung a hammock on. Sage brush and bushes just wouldn’t support the weight. A tent is just more universal for me and the kind of travel I do.
Got the Big Agnes bikepacking UL4. Looked this up just to see some of your mounting choices and had to laugh when you broke out the beer. Just discovered Cali Creamin and just finished off a can when you started to show yours. LOL Good stuff!
Great vid man! I've been eyeballing this tent as well as a lighter weight camp chair in order to get my total pack load under 20 pounds and seeing this seals the deal! Cheers man! 🍻
While this video might be a year old, excellent review. I’ve been looking at this tent and while I’m not sure about getting it today, looks like I’ll get it soon. Good job

Thanks for the video. Clearly a clever tent. Will you do a sleeping pad evaluation? I need to upgrade all my kit and now they I'm ancient, a pad is really necessary. . Beer sounds cool too... sorry you ignored it! 😋
Yes I can do that. I have a Moto camping trip coming up in the next few weeks. I will get it out then. If you’re curious on purchasing a new sleeping pad. Check out this video if you haven’t already ruclips.net/video/KaPpu-Ngxyw/видео.html
Which organic beers do you like? Don't like barley treated with Monsanto's glyphosate. (impacts your gut biota and specifically an enzyme that helps the immunity Vitamin D3 uptake. (Covid-19 patients, most have low Vitamin D3 levels) I like Eel River Brews (all organic brewery) and Farmhouse from Maine. In New Mexico Truth or Consequences brewery made a Crystal Lager (what can I say, they put a real woo woo, a rock crystal in the brew vat) that was exceptional for a short run. I use the BA Copper Spur UL1 but I do need a two person for a snuggle companion who also rides.
I had mine in a winter storm with heavy wind and rain, worked super good. And the smaller the tent the warmer you are. The ONLY negative thing I had was the rain fly gets caught in the zipper easy. If you can get around that its perfect
I absolutely enjoy your reviews and suggestions on everything that is motorcycle related. You are very fair and I see that you researched the products in depth! I bought the BA UL 2 when it first came out and it is a great tent! I think that I mention on a previous email that my tent of choice for the last couple years has been this one: redverz.com/tents/redverz-hawk-ii-four-season-mountaineering-tent/ I hike, I bike, I (used) to ride off road all over the world. This is my favorite tent to use in all weather conditions! It weights very little and when I arrive at destination the sleeping bay is clipped to the outer fly! So the inside of the tent does not get wet when I set it up! I am certain that you have checked it out! Maybe they would be willing to support your videos! Anyway, you are doing a great job for the traveling biker community! Cheers.
I know this video has been out for a while but i'm hoping you can help answer a question about this tent There are now two different Tiger Wall UL2 models available from big agnes, and it appears that the only difference between the two is that one model comes with some kind of tent lights. HOWEVER, the packed size of both tents is listed as 5.5" x 18", which is quite a bit longer than the size of what you have in the video. Any clarification on this? is the website listing simply just incorrect, or has the design of the tent changed since this video was uploaded? or is it just possible to roll the tent up shorter and fatter than they did? Really interested in this particular tent because of the small size when packed
This is the “bike packing” version that is offered. The link may have changed. Click the link then click tents. Then select the “bikepacking” version motocampnerd.com/?ref=Ng60HaKCRTjkC
Backcountry Adventure Motorsports In the long run, the motorcycle and Corvette, will cost you less money. And you get to keep your house! 👍😃 Be safe! 😎
That is the worst beer in the history of beer bar none hahaha. Love some of the other Mother Earth offerings but not that one, uggggg. Thanks for the great videos.
We have actually looked into adding Kelty as a brand to carry BUT we are still waiting for a call back😁 Thanks for pointing out that model. It does pack at 16" which is still a short enough length for some motorcycle luggage and a good budget friendly alternative. The cost difference comes in with the Big Agnes being Nylon and the Kelty is polyester. Both have pros and cons and you can't go wrong either way.
If you are looking to get one, motocampnerd.com has one of the best prices with the discount. I know there aren’t many in stock so if you are thinking about it just go for it and take advantage of the discount link
Check out e bay and rei gear attic sales. Sometimes buying second hand is great. As for the stakes I upgraded to Vargo Titanium Shepherd's hook for corner stake outs and MSR groundhogs for the rainfly. As for the tent protection footprint buy the trim to fit Polycro material. Lasts a season or two and is uberlight.
@@stephenverchinski409👍👍👍 Already use polycryo w/ my other tents. I've seen FB marketplace pop up with some good deals, but I'm just too much of a miser. 😅
Sweet review. I was already pretty much sold on this tent, your review and the sweet 10% discount made me pull the trigger on it finally. Thanks.
Glad to help!

You might pack a portable electric fence for bear country. A compact 2.4 lbs for huge peace of mind

It's pricey, but I couldn't find anything else that tics all the boxes. I followed your link and advice and got one.
I'm hesitant on the beer though.

Great looking tent! Winter rolling in down here in NZ so no more camping this season!! Looking forward to your adventures this year!
I always get great pointers from you, much appreciated.
Got the Agnes as well. Love it and definitely worth the $
