I get very excited about certain features in modern cars and not all of them are hugely complicated or particularly new bits of tech either - they just work and make life easier.

My EQC used to have really good Remote Start / Climate Control - particularly for defrosting the windscreens in winter. I'm quite certain, after an app update they took away (or at least limited) some of this as it'll still warm the car, but not defrost the glass (really annoying!). Also the way to app communicates with the car is in general really unreliable.

Im in a snow free zone and i was wondering why they bother with the heated front screen. I thought rhe climate control could deal with it

Car makers that offer the heated windscreen usually have off road or winter climate driving in mind I guess e.g. the Swedes and Volvo 🤷
