It's acute gastritis & not just a normal gastritis. In severe cases, there's internal bleeding. Even if it's not that severe, it normally takes more than a month to heal. 2-3 months top & pledis just let him rest for a month. He's there in the mv, he's there in the pic pledis boss uploaded & the members kept on telling on the variety show to not worry about Wonwoo that much because he'll be back with them again. Wonwoo even uploaded his pic on twitter, saying the same. There's no such thing as pledis dropping him since they said it in the beginning that the purpose of them doing this is so that he can be with seventeen even longer, healthier. It's just pledis's style i guess, they did to baekho of nu'est too when he's sick. Lizzy too.

guys i'm so worried about wonwoo. i know he was sick but the break he is taking to rest is too long for him to still not be able to dance. he hasn't been on music shows, kcon, interviews, etc for so long. i'm starting to think his illness is more serious than pledis said or pledis will drop him (even though the last one may be a bit of my paranoia kicking in bc, as an exo-l, when a member takes a bit-too-long break, it means that he is leaving, and i don't want that to happen with svt)

It's acute gastritis & not just a normal gastritis. In severe cases, there's internal bleeding. Even if it's not that severe, it normally takes more than a month to heal. 2-3 months top & pledis just let him rest for a month. He's there in the mv, he's there in the pic pledis boss uploaded & the members kept on telling on the variety show to not worry about Wonwoo that much because he'll be back with them again. Wonwoo even uploaded his pic on twitter, saying the same. There's no such thing as pledis dropping him since they said it in the beginning that the purpose of them doing this is so that he can be with seventeen even longer, healthier. It's just pledis's style i guess, they did to baekho of nu'est too when he's sick. Lizzy too.
