Worth a mention is that Anubis and Jormuntide have a ton of pals that can breed to make them early. Also makes it easier to breed the good traits you have scattered across different pals to make much more effective attackers or workers for your base

@jasonkelley-cc1hc water pals are everywhere so you catch em till you get the traits you want, breed the 4 traits into 1 or 2 kelpsea(they level 11ish around the azurobe boss) get a warsect either from a black merch guy or fight it at level 30, black merch dude refreshes alot tho. Breed em into a couple chillets with the traits than get a quivern(lvl 23) breed em till you get your anubis. If you want a step further take your anubis and breed it with a vanwyrm boom you got your faleris also.
Edit: I checked the merch guy under the desolate church and the small settlement shop often, should be able to get anubis and faleris with this around level 20-25ish
@@TM26Slippy What a wildly unnecessary set of steps. Not only is Sweepa/Tombat infinitely easier, but your own instructions are wildly inefficient. You don't need to breed for Chillet when there's a perfectly good level 11 Alpha Chillet. You also only need either Quivern or Warsect in your chain, not both, they both breed with Chillet for Anubis (Ignoring that both of those Pals immediately invalidate the 'starter breeder' logic).
@KaleidosXXI if you just want the mon it's not efficient but getting the alphas with the 4 traits you want isn't a fun time. I'm sure as we play more combos and easier varieties will pop but from my own trial and error playthrough that's what I did and it was awesome already had the warsect and the kelpsea were super easy to farm up a ton with every trait. So just from them I got my faleris anubis and galeclaw exactly how I wanted them built and I was able to make multiple of each for the homies. It might seem like extra bs but it's for a reason. I've tried out gambling luck Rolling in breeding and it's fun but takes way longer than 10 min catching like 15-20 kelpsea. Anyways pretty sure there's a vid out where dude takes 5 mons and breeds most of the demons with them. Again you'd have to farm mons that aren't as easy to farm in the wild for traits. Like relaxaurus instead of a pengullet, Getting a couple no big deal but going for all 4 traits gunna take an hour or two

just wanna mention how easy anubis is to breed. as a boss he is kinda late into the game due to being in the 40s, but you can breed for him right away at lv 19 by breeding either chillet and quivern, sweepa and tombat or cinnamoth and vanwyrm just to name a few easy to obtain examples. i know breeding can be expensive at that level, as cake requires a bunch of ingredients, but most of those ingedients can be afk farmed with a ranch and a wheatfield. anyways thank you for your insight moxsy
Penking and Bushi is relatively easy to do too. The boss versions anyway.
The easiest Anubis combo is Celaray + Relaxaurus. Celeray are incredibly easy to capture right from the start of the game, so you can get a few of them with tier 3 skills, which then lets you breed 1 godly Celaray with four tier 3 skills. Then you just capture a Relaxaurus somewhere and start breeding Anubis.
You can also then use that Celaray + Univolt to make a Petallia, which can then be bred into a Lyleen.
On top of that the Celaray can be bred with a Dazzi or Fuddler to make a Gorirat, which is a fantastic mid game combat pal.

I don't like it. It takes away some of the specialness if you can just get it as soon as you hit level 17 with breeding random crap that isn't even hard to obtain.
honestly I'm growing to believe that this is the single worst part of the game. I've got breeding combos to turn some of the first pals in the game (direhowl, nightwing, etc) into Orserk, Astegon, Shadowbeak and Anubis. At this point I'm thinking the entire breeding system needs a rework to make exclusive pals more.. exclusive...
I'm genuinely so excited for the future of this game! It's a breath of fresh air to see a new game taking the spotlight. Hopefully it lasts!
They did a hotfix already just a few hours ago where they addressed a few bugs including the armor bug where you could just replace all of your equips with armor and be super tanky. So it does seem the devs care. They also announced new updates coming soon with new areas, new pals, more end-game content, and an improved crafting system. There will also be PvP and pal arena (pal-only PvP) added at a future time.

I breeded my jetragon with a beegaurd to get my Anubis with Legendary,Runner, muscle head and divine dragon perks, it also got a draconic breath skill , now I’m just breeding a whole bunch to get it to max stars. I will also be doing the same breeding technique for the rest the top non legendary pals to get them all with legendary,muscle head and runner

Just got my Anubis artisan, serious, and lucky for 85% work speed
Runner is just move speed though, you should aim for ferocious or burly body if you're using it for combat.

Been playing around with breeding, only level 31, and got my Anubis with ferocious, muscle, and swift traits. Got 700+ attack at level 23 and one star upgrade :). Also ended up with an army of Anubis for base through the process
I actually have that similar with an Anubis I bred … burly body /muscle /ferocious /swift I was trying to roll lucky instead of swift because I wasn’t sure it translated without it being a flying mount

Im way over 100 hours and sitting on over 10k of each key resource in the game but pal fluids . The real main base setup with Pals is: Pals are: Anubis x 4, Jormuntide ×4 (2 of each Red & Blue) Lyleen, Lyleen Noch, Orserk x2 , 1 Sibelyx, 1 Frostallion & your typical ranch Pals for Cake
appreciate the warsect love, thing is an absolute unit. trying to breed him with pure defense passives
Should be an honorable mention for galeclaw. Only found out about him at around lvl 43 and he will never leave my party. Enjoyment of the game went up x10 just being able to move around the base faster and do fun grapple glide trickshots etc. he also makes boss fights too easy

I swear divine disaster actually does way more damage than it says. Same with jetragons unique move that on paper should be weaker than dragon comet but always seems to actually do more damage.
The "power" of moves is very strange. Like tri lightning, the 90 power lightning move, clearly splits that damage into 3 hits of 30, but lightning streak, the 75 power move, shoots out a ton of lightning bolts that ALL do 75 power. On large enemies it can hit 4 times for an obscene 300 power move on relatively low cd.
alot ppl are sleeping on low cd powers, i rly like to use air cannon , yes its weak, but its cd is insanely low that i can spam it and get more dmg out than more powerfull moves when cooldown ends
@@aga1nsty0u also those are more useful on mounts since you don't rely on the AI to time the attacks
@@aga1nsty0uit's very useful when you're riding them, yeah. Sniping pals with that skill has been hilarious in that run. It also pierces through enemies, making it good against groups somewhat.
I am level 41 and I'm just now looking at what pals I want to invest in. I've just been having fun using Bushi for most everything. I am just now starting the breeding and this is fun. The perfect video I'm looking for right now. Thank you
bushi always gets stuck, ik there’s a bug going around where pals just stop soemtimes but it happens 8/10 times i throw bushi out so sad

Same. Lvl 42 and Bushi has the highest attack rating in my team. Over 700 right now
you might want to start looking at one of the legends to catch so you can breed their ability which is 20% att and def with 15% move speed. musclehead is another 30 and ferocious which i think is 20% and have a stacked pal to take on last boss (its basically a dps check) and then add on the 30% from soul boosts you get some crazy stats
I haven't seen any comment addressing this but the warsect partner skill is actually a typo. It should say that it gives you fire defense. It does not apply any fire damage to your attacks.
I have already played this game for like 7 hours today and watching this just makes me want to play another 7
I managed to get reaaaaally lucky and catch both Alpha Chillet and Alpha Quivern, one with Workaholic and the other with Artisan. When you breed these two they make Anubis and now i have over 30 Anubis' with these two traits, currently putting Swift and Runner on them now. My mine is BOOMING. High recommend

Nice video, thank you. Lyleen is one of my favorites and your other choices are very logical too. I also like pyrin noct and vanwyrm cryst for midgame mounts. Especially nice with speed stats bred on to them and easy to get as well.
Ooo just got to the Anubis part - you can get him as soon as you unlock breeding, which might move him up on the ranks. Penking + Bushi = Anubis, there's a ton of other combos but Anubis early game is even better. 🍀
Lyleen is a lifesaver when fighting legendaries. She saved my butt when I was fighting frostallion for the first time. Frostallion became my very first legendary because of her.
For Lyleen, be aware that the grass version has lvl 4 planting and the dark type does not.

Breeding should have been included in the video. You can get those without actually fighting or hunting them through breeding. And there are a lot of combinations to breed them. I successfully bred a Warsect with Musclehead, Ferocious, Hard Skin and Brave by breeding a Cryolinx and Surfent. There are multiple combinations to get one specific Pal.
Have not had this much fun in a game in a long time
I made it my mission today to get up to that sanctuary past the desert and caught all of the ones that are exclusive to that area. I've been wanting almost all of these (except shadowbeak) so I'm really happy I reached the point of people able to have them run around in my team finally. Now my team is all higher level than myself so it'll be great finally being able to powerlevel my character again and not feel worried by the ice area
Glad to see Faleris made the cut. I was using that Pal for a while as my main transportation/fighting pal, but noticed that for some reason it won't attack anything I'm attacking. I went through my whole party during a fight to see if it was just Faleris that wasn't attacking, and sure enough, it was. Must be a bug, and hopefully it gets patched soon.

Im also over 100 hours in and i love this game. Base building , exploring, collecting pals, clearing caves/dungeons and fighting bosses so damn fun! I still haven’t even entered one of those tower things yet and I’m already level 50 lol. I gotta try that but each time I find a large cluster of higher level resources I tend to spend a long time, making a new base and transferring all my materials from my old base before destroying.

Have you tried using gobfin with vanguard and stronghold specialist as support pals in your party, as it's partner skill boosts the player's attack when in your team? I am currently breedign towards a team with frostallion, lyleen noct and 3 gobfins.
@moxsy where do you rate Frostallion noct? You can get it through breeding frostallion and a helzephyr
as early as lvl 38. Bro grinding this game for like 40 hours still 32. Loving the tame, the progression and feeling powerful. Neverthless, still think its tidious only being able to level up catching pals. Maybe more xp for just killing or farming or just plain old crafting would make it much more fun getting into the late game. Just my thoughts

Frostallion is a real beast against legendaries tbh. I find myself dying more than him dying.
He never died even once in my 100+ day playthrough. He's very tanky fr
The hitpoints on alpha frostallion is so high that in many cases the only way it dies is by starvation - it very often heals faster than the damage done to it.
I think warsect is bugged, at least his passive added fire damage. When i have him out i dont do any extra damage and if i fight a grass type like mamoranth, i dont get the red crit damage numbers. If i pull out wixen i do crits and a ton of damage, unlike with warsect.
I do go from 497 to 519 defense when i pull warsect out, so the added defence works. I am on pc gamepass so maybe thats it?
I think you may have to be mounted on him to get the bonus.

I managed to get a really good Astegon via breeding that has the passives: Lucky (+15% ATK & +15% Work Speed), Legend (+20% ATK, +20% DEF, & +15% Movement Speed), Divine Dragon (+20% Damage for Dragon type attacks), & Hard Skin (+10% DEF). Really happy with that one. :)
You can also find an Alpha Astegon in the big Volcano area at level 48. It's located inside of a cave on the southeast-ish side of the region, but north of the region's Tower. If you find a place called the "Destroyed Mine Shaft" or something along those lines, Astegon will be waiting for you in the deepest section of the cave, with the title "Ravager of the Stars".

Left out the most important aspect of Felaris, it's stamina now that's a QoL improvement
Blazhowl Noct and Ice Reptyro are my fav pals, they're quite strong too
Do NOT breed the legendarys, just a warning. It may seem like a good idea to get the perfect passive skills, however, by breeding the legendarys they lose that massive hp bonus. my maxed out lvl 50 jetragon (that was from breeding) 4 star with max boosts from the statue only has 5k hp whereas the normal boss version has 10k-11k hp on it.
Cuz its the boss only the boss Pals have that much HP
@@ETz_26 yes, except it doesnt affect other boss enemies in the game only the legendaries. my boss jormuntide doesnt have more hp than my bred non boss jormuntide. its because the boss legendaries were crafted for higher hp values since they r big boss enemies.
Breeding legendaries is amazing to do, I'm currently breeding necromus and pyrin noct for astegon, and then with kitsun to get a shadow beak with legend and the dark damage passive from necromus!
@@JackDritz ya its good to breed legendarys to get the legend skill onto other pals yes but what im saying is its not good to get a breeded legendary over a boss legendary to use in combat because their health gets cut in half when u have a breeded version of a legendary
@@zath863good to know, otherwise breeding a legendary with other perks would be the ultima pal, now I guess only option is to catch one with rng good perks
Damn I wish I had this much time for gaming. Do you have any recommendations for someone who wants to sit at a computer desk for a long period of time? I have a decently ergonomic chair and I try to keep my back straight but I find like after a few days of straight gaming I am fucking exhausted… I guess more practice would make me game longer but some days after a full day of work I’m just like blaahhh this is more taxing than it is fun. Wonder if you have any advice for this!
Ive got a Lyleen Loct with Musclehead, Legend, Ice Emporer and Lord of the Underworld. She's an absolute unit. One of my favorite looking pals next to Frostallion Noct.
I think I want to get one with dark wisp.
Cross breed to get a shadowbeak with Legend, Divine dragon, muscle head, and veil of darkness. Definitely my favorite pal outside of the legendaries.
Have made a few nice Jormuntide as well but haven’t hit a 4 stat that I like yet.
Had a question. I had figured Blazamut would be superior to Inciniram since it's a bit more annoying to get short of doing silly tricks with breeding; but why in your opinion are the two of them close enough that Inciniram was in the running?
My team is currently Shadowbeak, Jormuntide, Anubis, Astegon and Lyleen. Should I replace one of these for warsect? I notice you said he hasn't been out of your party since you've got him. Thanks!
Warsect is a good tank with great CC if you invest in him. I would recommend defense passives if you lack a tank, but he can be good dps himself since he has a good stun for most pals with the rock ability.
I think the Gym Leaders are the best Pals in the game XD
Knowing fire is the strongest type and liking the non legendary fire guy you showed , I've farmed over 100 rooby and going to be breeding them with the traits to increase player attack and defense. With 3 of then I'll have 60% player attack and defense while their passive increases my 2 main fire pals dmg. 2 main meaning the fire guy and faleris for mount. With faleris also being very strong, it will kind of be like fhe sweepa team. Not as bad though cause I'm keeping a flying mount in my party.
Jormuntide ignis is probably one of the best pals. Fire + dragon is insane combo, learns good moves, great stats and quite easily farmable in the end. Only issue is you cant get legend on it
If you chain breed, you can get legend onto it eventually
Not for ignis jormuntide you don't. Can't breed anything in other than another Jormungide ignis on it but I comes with fireball so there is that. @@hyperjank5129

Lucky is unfortunately also pretty difficult to get on it. You have to find a wild Lucky version lmao
As for other impossible passives: Flame Emperor and Divine Dragon, which boosts both of his STAB moves by 20% each.
The absolute best damage build on it would be Musclehead, Ferocious, Lucky and Hooligan.
The best damage build without considering Lucky as it's hard to get, would be Musclehead, Ferocious, Hooligan and Sadist (switch Sadist for Brave to get 5% less damage, but at the trade of not having -15% Def from Sadist)
When I was trying some breeding I did find a combination that gave me consistent Anubis eggs. Male Penking and Female Bushi. I had gotten 10 eggs and they were all Anubis so if anyone is wanting to get Anubis early you can catch the boss Penking (Lvl 16 I believe) and boss Bushi (Lvl 23 I believe) to get the Anubis eggs early on in you game
I didn’t look closely at the passives for my first few Anubis. Some had Artisan but also had musclehead so their production just balanced out at average lol.
Where do i find the Hidden Power Score listing?
Noticed Frostallion Noct isn’t on this list. Did you not get to experience it, is it just not as good as these, or do you consider it to be equal to original Forstallion?
What do you think of Blazehowl Noct? Is he good? Just hatched him from a huge scorching egg today
maybe you dont know but there is also Frostalion Noct which is just dark version of Frostalion, maybe he isnt number 1 beacuse you cant get alpha version of him like normal Frostalion so that means no 13k HP but he is worth mentioning
Shadowbeak + 4 Daedream is an interesting combo...
Forgot to mention that Frostallion can trample any other pal or human enemies while running on the ground.
i like smallest hitbox attack pal bc big ones make it hard to shoot
Anubis is so easy to breed thankfully with a breed power around 570. My 2 favorite combos to are either Penking + Bushi or Relaxsaurus with Celaray

I got an Anubis with artisan and serious. So freaking fast at crafting! Definitely worth it.

I've been breeding Anubis with Workaholic, Artisan, Swift, Serious. 3 so far, but also have Earth Emperor, Vanguard, Swift, Musclehead for fighting.
With Jormuntide, can you still ride him when not on water? Because saddled Pals you can double down on big power long CD moves. So you can for example hydro laser while mounted, and hop off and he'll do it again because they don't seem to share a CD. You have a separate command CD for the Pal's moves.

5:35 you passively regenerate health one out of combat even if it is slow. You can also actively heal when you're back at your base and you lay in bed.
What about Frostallian Noct? Would you put it on the same tier as the regular frostallion?
fun fact, anubis actually goes up to handywork 5 at 4 stars. if you get artisan, serious and really anything else and max it out you can do legendary balls in like 2 seconds each.

Frostallion has a weird bug that I have noticed that folks should be aware of. for whatever reason when flying OVER lava pools, or lava flows? Frostallion and yourself will catch fire and begin burning as if you had run through the lava. I have not tested if that trigger is infinitely high, but something to be aware of.
I dropped on very nicely with a spot of breeding and got a Serious Artisan Anubis. Yeah. That lil' guy's something a tad special to see go to work.
by FAR my favorite 2 pals are frostallion noct and blazamut, i've spend over 10 hours of breeding on these 2. my frostallion noct has legend swift runner and musclehead, it's maybe 20% slower than a jetragon but with 3x the stamina, by far the best mount in the game imo. my blazamuts, i have one for the team that is flame emperor, swift, mucslehead and burly body, amazing atk and def, and then i made a dozen with serious, artisan, swift and runner for the base.
swift and runner are amazing stats for base pals, especially pals with a 4 work suitability, they do their jobs so quickly that most of their time is spent running from one job to the next.

Jormuntide Ignis and Blazamut are the 2 best pals for combat in the game (my experience) their atk stats is boosted, Nice typing and beautiful 🤙🏾
You can also breed for every non legendary in the game (besides Blazamut I’m pretty sure you need legendaries to breed for him)
I was trying to hatch a Fenglope with swift and runner… and ended up with a a Fenglope that has brave, ferocious, and hooligan.
Dudes level 40 now with nearly 800 attack, I can’t be mad!
One important tips for everyone: the damage dealt and received is actually based on the level difference between your pal and enemy, your pal gets nerf to the same level as you but the multiplier still count for its original level.
This makes Lvl49 Blazamut the best pal after lvl35 (for ultra ball to catch) before legendary(level 44, painful to reach without adjusting setting/glitch).
It does super well against all the bosses as it has level advantage overall, another pal that has lvl49 is lyleen but lyleen damage isn't even near to Blazamut (fire nature, Flame emperor and base stats).
Its gonna help so much for level from 35 to 44 as you can rip all boss with this (even Jormuntide, I deal 300damage with fireball despite elemental weakness, and the infernal skill is crazy against him as it is so big it will take 3-4 shots)
Another best pal is lvl47 Anubis
Get your sweepa full stars & your swee too get #1 spot dmg bonus is insane
The funny thing is that out of all the pals I've gotten including the legendary ones, Orzerk stomps everyone due to the simple fact he's small and agile. The AI in this games drags every single large size pal down by so much. They spend more than 80% of the time either stand there and do nothing or get stuck by a random object.
I found Astegon in the Volcano part, wasn't a loading dungeon either!

I really wish cattiva and the other 2 “starters” weren’t so definitively weak. I like them lol. But they stand absolutely no chance against the pals found later in the game
Also the only reason sweepa stacks better is cause it’s defense is also increased and not just the attack like all the other pals with a similar skill
I have a shadowbeak with Earthquake Resistance, Hard Skin, Hooligan and Burly Body. His abilities are Dark Laser 150, Nightmare Ball 100 and Divine Disaster 160. That thing is a monster.

I love my Frostallion! The first fight I got obliterated by the giant icicle early. 2nd fight same thing but at 400hp 💀. 3rd time only 3 legendary spheres 😎
