Let’s be real this man has saved our life so many times 😂

@@Cognitoedu thank you
I learned all my syllabus in 1 day with good concentration
I'm in year 10, currently revising as many of the topics as I can for my exam this Monday. After hours of scrolling, going through various videos, asking my Teach' for help, going to sites to learn the various methods of learning simple interests...
...I find a video that explained everything that should normally take me about 20-30 minutes to learn in 4minuets. I'm so glad I was able to find your channel. The way you speak so concisely and clearly yet so simple makes everything a ton easier!
Thank you so much for this lesson !!

Hi Cognito! I wanted to say thank you so much for these videos! Your physics, Biology, Maths, and Chemistry helped me with my year 9 exams, you guys deserve the 100K which is just 2K away! You guys put so much effort in your videos moreover how you explain it so it’s understandable and not complicated, not to mention you guys have been producing videos for since 2018! I remember coming across your channel a year ago yet I never decided to watch your channel, I’m so glad I went back and searched your channel because your videos help me so much! Dear Amadeus Carnegie, I'm utterly grateful that I found your channel as my performance in physics and chemistry was very bad before I found you!, Now currently I'm sitting my IGCSE's from India and I have recommend you to all of my friends, and even my teacher finds your videos to be helpful in teaching other classes too. You are one of the best teachers I ever had. we may never meet each other in IRL, but I will keep recommending Cognito to every student. Once again, Thank you for tutoring me, 😊.

Your videos are beneficial but can you do a compound interest video as I don't allow myself to watch videos other than yours.
This helped so much, thanks alot!
Thank u so much this literally helped me alot! 😂
Simple interest :
Sally lends nick £1000 with a 5% interest rate.
Nick will eventually have to pay Sally back her money but also an interest of 5% for every year that he borrowed the money.
● £1000 + 5% (for every year borrowed)
● 1st year :
Find 5% of 1000
- 5 ÷ 100 = 0.05
- 1000 × 0.05 = 50
Nick ows = £1050
● 2nd year :
- £1050 + £50 = £1100
● 10th year :
1000 + (10 × 50) =
1000 + 500 = 1500
Formula = original amount + (amount of years × annual interest%)
Thank you, I appreciate your videos so much💕

Hi i dont understand in 3:23 why you multiplied 0.021 x 600.. like ur supposed to multiply it by 6 because brackets always go first so why did u multiply by 600?

I practically failed my last exam, if i fail again im going to be a total embarresment, wish me luck
I'M DOING MY GCSE MOCKS AND YOUR VIDEOS ARE SO HELPFUL AHFSJFKSFJSBFK
YAY hope they go well Georgia 🤞
Wouldn't you be earning 12.60 after year 1 which would then make you more interest in year 2 and so on and so on.
mate thanks for the help and also who are here in 2024 hit the like for cognito and me
or you can just use SI formula: PxRxT/100 and then add it to the principal it would be easier and faster
Tysm!! ^^
But what about somebody took 100k from a bank. And the monthly payment is 1K, in this case after 1 year the total debt is 100-12=88K. And if the interest is %4, should we take it as 4K or 88.4/100 (3,52K) for the second year?
People who have an impossible math teacher button
Free formula for finding interest is: principal amount × rate of interest × time ÷ 100.
Could someone please explain to me the last question here… would you not just use compound interest? I used it but got a very slightly different answer compared to the simple interest and now I’m confused… surely it should be the same and why
dude this could come in paper 2 or 3. Its simple interest bc it says simple interest in the q ig
@@prodls3993 oh ofc silly me😭 thank you!!!
@@angelenergy333 no prob its all good
On January 12, 1998 jack purchases a lot for 48000$. He makes a partial payment of 10000$ once every 30 days, beginning February 11. On June 11, he plans to make the last payment plus the interest. If the rate of interest is 18%, what is the amount due? Use the Merchants' Rule. please answer this
What if the time is in months and not years. How do you solve that ??
Yo ily man
why doesnt the simple interest formula for n years give the same results (P \ I = 100 \ pn )
In the question you gave as explantion the interest should be 12.6 and not 12.60
