My dad was good about letting us know what he wanted done before he passed away in January 2023. My mom doesn't want to talk about it. She said she doesn't like talking about death, so I have a feeling I am going to have to make all the decisions on my own.

It's great to see someone addressing this very important matter from a non-professional point of view. Well done, Debbie Howard.

That was really great thought provoking information from Debbie. She really hit on the fact that we need to plan and communicate with our loved ones before it is too late. And, it does create a golden opportunity to get closer to your family.

I enjoyed helping my father but my mother was very abusive towards me so I can't say I enjoyed helping her
