You’d want to give a player the benefit of the doubt usually but the replay just looks so bad. Maybe he doesn’t want to be there anymore. But if he’s being cryptic and making it a toss up to what he wants then the Steelers need to keep an eye on if this happens again cuz if it does. He doesn’t want to be there it’s blatant

Different era of players. When my cousin (Ike Taylor)played, they had Troy P, Harrison, etc, who didn't disrespect the game of football. Steelers from way back, always had rough, tough players who put their heads down and balled out. They were known as "blue collar" type workers. Football always had arrogant players but this era has produced way more. Just like in the NBA.

There's no response I can make that will match this level of ignorance and stupidity... I mean... "The hell with that" - what does that even mean? Youre giving a pass to this guy, because you feel white QBs get a pass doing this? Do you have an actual example or two of a QB doing THIS?? Seems like something you should be able to actually back up with some facts and evidence... And for every white QB doing it, im sure I can find you a black qb doing the same. And i can find you clips of people critiquing the white qb for quitting on his team mid play after a turnover...
Simply giving up mid play is not something that SHOULD happen in the NFL, white or black players. Have NO idea why you felt the need to randomly bring up this players race, as a defense of his abhorrent effort on this play, because "white qbs" or something...
Maybe, just maybe, race has absolutely nothing to do with this criticism for 99% of people, except weirdos like you, who obviously just look for any excuse possible to pit whites against blacks, or race against race for whatever strange justification you have to do so...

    LEAVE MY COUSIN ALONE,
Thought the play was dead, then he couldn’t catch him, DJ WATCHED HIM GO DOWN.
He thought they’d blow a late whistle and it’d be dead. Players do it all the time and the play gets called back.
This one didn’t get called back, so it looks horrendous. He doesn’t have a key block and instead stood there to hold the corner.
Let em live, if he ends up on any of your teams keep that same energy when he gets yall over the hump.
3-star, to Toledo, 3rd rounds, now best receiver on the team.

You realize he was assigned to block the person who recovered the fumble?
Why didn't he start that block? He was a non participant on the entire play, and his excuse was he was blocking... the man who picked up the ball.
This is embarrassing even if there is no fumble.
He plain didn't do his job.

@@isawaakuma yes I do. But it’s not a block, it’s a dive play and DJ decided to mirror to hold the CB with him.
He turned and thought he was down, didn’t care because he thought it’s be a dead ball.
Looked at ref, looked at returner, decided nothing he can do now.
Yes it looks horrendous and it is indeed a load, but it aint like he just doesn’t want to play or he isn’t a winner.

He didn't give up on the play lol he probably thought Warren was already down and the play was dead and the Bengals were just doing what they do and running the ball back. Why waste energy risk injury on a dead play? Anyone who has played two games of organized football has seen a play like this
