    I recently watched an interview from the 70s with a World War II German ace who said German pilots fighting on the Eastern front tried to have dogfights only over friendly forces on the off chance they were shot down they wouldn’t end up as prisoners of war.

    Nice movie. When you land a tail dragger on the mains, unless you are trying to 3 point it, the trick is to fly close to the surface and level off, fast enough to have only a slightly nose high attitude, with the mains a foot or or two in the air and then PUSH on the stick, just a little. The mains will plant and the slight down elevator will hold the tail up and keep you from bouncing. Keep the tail up with increasing forward elevator as you slow down until you've slowed enough that it can be lowered without starting to fly again, then full up elevator. That's a proper wheel landing. I've been doing it in real TDs for many years. When you get the hang of it it is a much easier way to land, especially something like the 109. Everybody watching your channel will be impressed.

    The battle of Stalingrad was fought in the dead of a bitterly cold winter. This video makes it look like August.

      Nah it's alright mate cold springs to mind when people mention the battle of Stalingrad so you'd be forgiven thinking the whole battle took place in winter.

    A couple of months later German pilots would of seen two Soviet army groups mass north and south of Stalingrad then rush to encircle the city probably loosing there airstrips while watching Soviet soldiers over run them. The happier times didn't last forever!

    109 Emil over Stalingrad? Somewhat doubtful... Late 42 The early Gustav or late Friedrich would likely be the norm as this is the sharpest end of the frontlines of any theatre of war... E's relagated to secondary theatres of operation / advance training... anyway, my spin on the matter... othewise fantastic video and graphics... keep up the awesome work!

    When are you going to learn that you don't have to have loud blaring music in order to produce a video. Very amateur attempt.

    • @TJ3
      @TJ3  2 года назад +1

      Pretty sure amateurs don't have 27,000 subscribers. But whatever dude. Also, I have over 200 videos. Most of which don't have music, so perhaps you should watch those.
