      Yes he did? Lucille Ball was one of many "Jewish" actors that did "Blackface" also.

    We had it good in those days, but we didn't appreciate how good it was because we had no idea how sleazy it would eventually get. Nipsey! If his name was listed in the TV Guide, you can bet I was going to watch!

    • @metuneter2415
      @metuneter2415 5 лет назад +11

      I slightly disagree. It was funny because it came from the brain. Comedy (back then) required the heart and mind and all of these people were geniuses.

    Nipsey it Lucy hard with “Never hired one black performer”... Lucy deserved it, she was a powerful force in Hollywood... She owned actual studios & could green light any project, yet Never hired one black person in all her time in Hollywood...

    • @buffalopatriot
      @buffalopatriot 4 года назад +2

      Actually Desilu Studios was pivotal in getting black performers on television.

    • @larrysmith6797
      @larrysmith6797 Год назад

      You're an ignorant, racist ass. Desilu produced Mannix costarring Gail Fisher as Peggy. She won two Golden Globes and an Emmy. Desilu produced MISSION: Impossible costarring Greg Morris the electronics and tech genius. Plenty of black actors appeared in Mannix and MISSION: Impossible. What about Lt. Ohura, Nichelle Nichols, on the original Star Trek, produced by Desilu? William Marshall was a guest star on Star Trek. As were Percy Rodriques, Lloyd Haynes, Phil Morris, William Marshall, Carl Byrd, Vince Howard, Iona Morris, Booker Bradshaw, Mark Robert Brown, Davis Roberts and Garland Thompson. Lying about racism is sick.

  • @b.millsj2401

    In my opinion Nipsey's ending joke about Lucy never having a Black performer hurt her and information she never thought would be brought up.

    • @larrysmith6797
      @larrysmith6797 Год назад

      There were dozens and dozens of black costars and guest actors in Desilu TV series. Gail Fisher costarred in Mannix and won two Golden Globes and an Emmy. Greg Morris costarred as the tech and electronics genius in MISSION: Impossible. Nichelle Nicolls was Lt. Ohura in Star Trek. Look this shit up, you lazy racist.
