+Ror shach That legend card back means he's doing a little better than that, man. Don't doubt Kripp's skill just because he's salty. Lots of great players are salty.
+Lukas N. Yes, I am constantly overwhelmed by the amount of skill my opponent has in topdecking the perfect answer to every card I play. Really makes me reconsider that choice I had to make between Captain's Parrot, Southsea Captain and Hungry Crab.
+tsnorquist RNG to draft good curve, but not too much early. then draw it, then have your opponement, first, play slighty worse turns then have no board clears_thatstheyusuallyhave150%oftime HOW HARD CAN THAT BE :P

Kripp, gotta love your honesty - saw this deck play live on your stream and the whole time you were saying how lucky you kept getting. Most others would just say how great they are and ignore their luck factor in getting a 12-win deck. Brutally honest and an awesome streamer, keep it up.
+8jb65 I even have a screenshot of a rogue deck with all cards excellent quality, before tgt, and it even has edwin and black knight. I went 3wins with it, and my shitty warrior deck went 12-1, lost only to double pyroblast xD
What goes into a 12-win arena deck? - Some AoE -Some card draw - sexy mana curves - Be mage And you got yourself a bammin slammin bootylicious area deck
It always interests me to see how someone else plays, simply because of their own thought process and reason behind the moves they make. I've sat down with my friend and played arena togethor just to see different views. Was super beneficial for me and helped me to become a better arena player/drafter
Just a small question. At 4:40 why does Zombie Chow have the Classic Swirl instead of the Naxxramas mark? Excuse me if that's a stupid question btw. :)
Really useful and joyable video! I always have bad luck in Arena, highest i've ever gotten is 11 wins, with a deck that looked very bad but prooved to be very useful.
They need to have a tavern brawl draft week 1. Draft your deck (Same as Arena) 2. This deck can not be changed once the cards are drafted. 3. This deck lasts throughout the week 4. Amount of defeats does not matter 5. At the end of the week you are rewarded a random card from your deck.
+MLG Veal "3. The deck last throughout the week" so if someone gets the shittiest deck ever he can basically quit tavern brawl for this week. it should be like arena with set amount of rares, epic etc...
+4cmd Yup, I only play about 10 games of tavern brawl a week, other then i first one where i got 263 wins. I wouldn't mind having a crappy deck if I was the one who drafted it with my own chance. If you lose the game of chance, you will struggle with a crappy deck but at least you had the option of picking 1 out of 3 cards for each slot.
+iTube Arktanae That is why he said to put it in the deck with all the minions that have charge. Cuz Fuk Raid Leader that gives all your minions +1 atk. Just replace with a warsong commander that only gives plus 1 to charge minions. Damn what was blizzard thinking making the ability something so stupid. Could have made it do some taunt type effect since it seems that's the route blizzard wants to take with warrior it seems.
I agree wholeheartedly with Kripp's statement about good opening hands. I just finished a 4-3 Rogue Arena run. I had 3 Goblin Auto Barbers in my deck. Every game I won, I had 1 or 2 Barbers in my hand by turn 2. Most of the games that I lost, I lost because I drew them when I was at low health or I didn't draw them at all. I played coin + double Auto Barber to basically get a Fiery War Axe in one of my games.
What goes in a 12-Wins arena deck? 3 Backstabs 1 D. Iron Skulker 7 Mech-Sinergistic cards and Time Rewinders for the Skulker. (Haven't watched the video, just my reaction to the thumbnail).
I don't know if you've played hearthstone or not but basically you draft/build a deck with the cards given to you by the computer and if you lose three games, you get kicked out of the arena and you get rewards based on the number of wins you receive. The most amount of wins you can get is 12 wins. Once you hit 12 wins you get kicked out of the arena but you get really good rewards like a large amount of;gold, dust or a card. Like any other Winrate, you get a additional random pack. So basically 12 wins is really good. But a lot of the wins are based on luck of your draft and what cards you draw. Hope this helps
I completely agree with the lucky opening hands or favorable hero match ups. One of my twelve win decks, a hunter I though had no business going 12 went twelve because I did not see any mages or paladins 9, 10, or 11 and played against warlocks. This combined with great opening hands led to 12.
Had my fist 12 win deck a few days ago, was a pally without much at all. The day before I had a pally with double equality, murlock knight, consecrate, double truesilver. The latter deck only got 5 wins. It's all down to what you go up against.
I just had a deck with both Bolvar and Eadric in it. I think i misplayed both of them on several occasions by going too late or too early. It was fun though. Never played with those cards before. Went 7 wins or something.
Only just crafted dr 7 on my main accounts, both luckily opened a sylvannas (within a pack of each other) what should i focus on next? I am debating cards from Hand lock and faceless, BGH and leroy. I've just about got all the neutral blue cards that are decent and used in many decks but my main issue is the lack of any decent epics, and class epics are even harsher, since they are only going to be used in a single deck.
Well imo all you need is a good opening, nothing more. If you gain control in the beginning, you won. I once had 4 legendaries (not on a dr balance level, but some decent ones.) And I went like 4-3 with it. So I wouldn't say the more legendaries the better. All you need is a great opening, with a great following curve.
+Szinisztusz good opening is important, but you need to curve out in the midgame. watch the hunter game in this vid, he had an insane opening, and kripp had bigger stuff and won. the opening isn't everything.
Dunno if i agree that much with mostly luck, sure you need a good draw and a good deck and that is mostly luck, but anticipating what your opponents might play, planing ahead your turns, mulligan, card draw and knowing whats in your deck etc... it is important aswell. I play mostly rogue and in my opinion if you pick up a tempo deck its really crucial to know when to swing the game, sometimes you have several options.
3 things: board clears, sticky minions, large threat I went 12-0 with a deck that had like 3 or 4 implosions in it. Just that card alone killed so many swing cards while dumping a bunch of 1/1s on the board for free
I really enjoy your videos while cooking or cleaning up but I can almost not hear you talking at all while watching on my phone. You should consider getting a better mic or using a compressor in post (see for example Totalbiscuit's setup), it would really improve the sound quality overall. cheers
Opponents are also important. If you face some paladins that can fill the board fast you have no aoe to combat it, that leaves the option to go face but if the paladin has buffs you are screwed with this deck. The paladin you faced on 10-1 had a low deck quality with few good cards (shielded mini, yeti, kodo), he had no muster/consecrate/blessing king or the 3mana one/truesilver/minons with reach.
@ days ago i got my first 12 wins! Shaman, with only one crackle and one hex, but I had 2 totem golems (opie) and a beautifull curve. Also only had 1 epic (doomhammer) and no legendaries :)
How to get 12 wins: Decent number of low mana cards so you always have something to play on every turn, ensure every has an effect or some other way to help deal damage to face, deal more damage to face than opponent so that they have to play chicken and try to stop you...and then kill them anyways. There not exactly what Kripp says but shortened to a simple paragraph, and those points are all reinforced fairly well in the matches he highlights.
my first 12 win arena was with paladin and I had quite a lot of games went like this: turn 3 raging worgen, survives 1 turn the I blessing of kings on it and win the game because my opponent has no removal.
I often get arround 5 wins with any class, but warlock has been amazing for me. Got 12, 8 and 9 last 3 runs with warlock. I feel its underrated, but maybe I'm just lucky !
"The main reason why i got 12 wins with this deck, is because i got really lucky opening hand, and that's really the end all be all of it" There you are ladies and gentlemen....luck.
800 arena wins guy here (with the average of >5:3), and... I still couldnt get my precious 12 wins - it just doesnt happen. I had 11 wins like 3 or 4 times, sometimes with the good decks, sometimes with just a crappy mage. I actually had 11:0 with him but then went 11:3 mostly due to opening hands etc. I believe that actually none of my 11 wins deck had any legendary in it. Is that so uncommon or am I never fucking lucky BabyRage ?
One of my two 12-0 wins was Warrior actually. Nothing spectacular, no legends, just good curve, a reasonable amount of good weapons inc Gorehowl ofc (let's face it: you NEED it if you want to hit 6+) , 1 execute, a bit of surprise damage to finish off opponents like Kor'kron Elite and smooth curve overall. It was a mix between tempo and control, got a little lucky ofc but hey. It doesn't change a fact that war is the worst in arena but 'You would Never get 12 wins' is exagerrated
Arena is based almost entirely on luck. Imo, ranked is where the skill is because it's YOUR deck. In Arena, you're relying on RNG to give you good selections for each pick, otherwise you're screwed.
I managed to make it to 12 wins with a shaman recently. no hex, no fire elemental, no lightning storm. just 4 tuskar totemics which at 9-1 I drew all 4 of them on turn 1 and I still won that game
What's the point of skipping discuss part? Mostly arena clips being kind of similar. Main thing is to understand what he talk about and how he applies it.
Don't know, Kripp - so what goes into a 12-win deck in the end? Because as I get it from the video it's "anything at all, as long as your super-lucky". :|
I have got 12 and 11 wins as Rogue and never had more than 5 or 6 wins as any other class so I have no idea how Rogue isn't the best arena class. I faced paladin after paladin after about 6 wins and destroyed them all.
"Hey guys how's it going..."

Luck. I've drafted shit decks that get 12 wins and great decks that go 3-3.
+8jb65 I agree... don't assume Hearthstone is borderline competitive with the random shit it pulls...
+8jb65 i went 4-3 with a pretty reasonable paladin deck this morning, luck is a huge factor in arena
+8jb65 just went 12-2 with a shaman deck where my best cards were 1 Totem golem and 1 Fire Elemental. Oh and I had only 1 Spell which was Rockbiter
+8jb65 I even have a screenshot of a rogue deck with all cards excellent quality, before tgt, and it even has edwin and black knight. I went 3wins with it, and my shitty warrior deck went 12-1, lost only to double pyroblast xD

Both of my 12 win decks (only happened twice) have had Dr Boom in. Coincidence?! I think not!
+DodgyDan4 I once got doctor boom in arena, but only got to play it once :( finished with 4 wins, but my average is 3.5 atm, so thats okay
I think both of my first 12 win decks had two Sea Giants. They're pretty dope too.
+DodgyDan4 my only 2 12 win decks both didnt have any legendary or epic Coincidence?! I think not!
note: i have only played like 10-13 arena games
i had boom in arena twice and i ended up 3-3 because every time i drew boom i got mct on war golem 😢
+DodgyDan4 I got over 20, 12 win arena runs and never had Dr.Boom in Arena.

It should have a set amount of each rarity. That way, no one can have 5 dr booms.
+Aladeen Gordon that's the point of draft, all chance.
+MLG Veal I like it but I'd like it more if you could draft a new deck every day instead. That way a weak draft doesn't suck so bad.
+MLG Veal "3. The deck last throughout the week" so if someone gets the shittiest deck ever he can basically quit tavern brawl for this week. it should be like arena with set amount of rares, epic etc...

So Kripp's number one tip for 12 wins in arena is... Get lucky. Wow thanks Kripp that really helped.
So have the right amount of good cards and get lucky. Such insightful pro tips.
You see my 12 win decks are simple get as many charge minions as possible and play hunter
AND THEN PUT IN WARSONG COMMANDER
They nerfed the warsong commander ):
+iTube Arktanae Warsong Commander is also Warrior only
+Jay Szekely That's the joke you moron
+Agent Nobody your friends and family must love you.
+iTube Arktanae That is why he said to put it in the deck with all the minions that have charge. Cuz Fuk Raid Leader that gives all your minions +1 atk. Good guy Kripp, knows players enjoy unpacking, saves two packs for one video.
Can you make a video ranking the worst and best classes for arena. Explain each.
What goes in a 12-Wins arena deck?
3 Backstabs
1 D. Iron Skulker
7 Mech-Sinergistic cards and Time Rewinders for the Skulker.
(Haven't watched the video, just my reaction to the thumbnail).
i don't say this about everyone but i like Kripparian he is very good BUT humble, most important
Thank you for showing us opening the reward and the packs at the end aswell :)
My only 12 win arena so far was with Rogue. A class Im lvl 11 with. Kinda weird if you think about it
+Zero the Unicorn Why is it weird lol
+Brobarb Obviously because he doesn't have a lot of experience with that class
***** And easily achieveable OTKs. It was before oil even
+Zero the Unicorn i only got 12 wins with shaman. And i know why. Because i drew 6 fire elementals and al akir.
Ha Peenes I had a 10 win priest arena with 5 holy novas and 4 shrinkmeisters
Blizzard should record all 12 win decks and make a Tavern Brawl out of them.
How good is getting 12 wins in arena?
I don't know if you've played hearthstone or not but basically you draft/build a deck with the cards given to you by the computer and if you lose three games, you get kicked out of the arena and you get rewards based on the number of wins you receive. +Tracy Coxon Turns out it's preeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetty good
Posted this yesterday, and today I went 12-1. Spooky shit.
***** nah I'm being serious
Tracy Coxon congrats
And on the opposite side, yesterday I had an arena deck with 3 zombie chows and only in 1 out of 9 games I had a zombie chow for turn 1.

Holy shit had no idea you could get legendary's as the random card it gives you at the end of runs.
+CloudStrife893 8-12 wins gives you a chance to get a (golden) legendary.
+iamgilesffs or 2x non-golden Argent Protector -_-

4 Truesilver Champions
Cairne
Alextrasza
RNJesus' Guidance
for priest:
shield
pain
2xdeath
2xholy nova
lightbomb
black knight
sneeds old shredder
mind control

What is the max amount of gold u can get from a 12 win arena? I got 480 and just want to know how good that is.
I know you're giving advice, but still can't get 12. Getting some 4-5's more consistently now but still struggle to make my gold back at least.
what kind of name would you give this rogue deck?
Opponents are also important. I believe that actually none of my 11 wins deck had any legendary in it.
Is that so uncommon or am I never fucking lucky BabyRage ?
first time 12 wins with paladins , 1 seal of champion, 3 argent protector(this card is insane ...) 2 consereation
I've never recieved a Leg card for 12 wins :*(
What's the point of skipping discuss part? Mostly arena clips being kind of similar. Main thing is to understand what he talk about and how he applies it.
Lol, just drafted a druid deck with 4x living roots, 2x starfall, 2x darnassus aspirant, 2x druid of the claw and 2x ironbark protector
:D
I think Watcherino is dead, guys. We have a problem.
Don't know, Kripp - so what goes into a 12-win deck in the end? Because as I get it from the video it's "anything at all, as long as your super-lucky". :|
Dank Memes going into 12 Win Decks.
someone can put a link to that paladin deck from reddit? :3
Do how good is Skipperino Kripperino
This resolution literally gives me a headache.
nicee
Gotta love Mages losing after that face-punch inducing Threaten emote~
A deck full of leper gnomes, cult masters, and feign deaths.
My first 12 win run was with warrior. Pre-GvG though. Lots of axes and charge for the win against slow mage players.
I have got 12 and 11 wins as Rogue and never had more than 5 or 6 wins as any other class so I have no idea how Rogue isn't the best arena class. I faced paladin after paladin after about 6 wins and destroyed them all.
"A constructed grim patron deck that won't lose to anything" :'( rip patron warrior 2015-2015
....
Cards?
That's probably the answer
Simple answer Kripp, whatever the draft pick RNG DOESN'T give you is what goes into a 12-win deck.
4 fireballs and 7 flamestrikes just might do it
Malygos arena reward D:
I had to craft that beautiful bastard
Sad that Rouge is only a Arena class atm :(
just found out that zombie chouw is a game of thrones zombie
