As a small business owner, the little stuff that goes wrong just sucks. Knowing how to fix it (and/or troubleshoot), is one of the things I admire about you. I love watching the Mini work, but secretly, I would love to own a skidsteer to clear our vacant lot. Just too many miles between Ohio and SC for you to brushhog our small lot.
when it rains , it pours. equipment checking is important. you use those equipment vigilantly and their telling you, hey take a look at me. hope everything goes well with no hurting the pocket book. wondering if you don't feel a little hesitant leaving your equipment someplace over night. here in AZ in phoenix you hear of equipment being stolen from jobsites in the evening hours. prayers that all goes well from now on. thanks for saving the turtle. probably hard to see what is making those bushes and vines their homes and munchie comes along and eats their home up.
Just remember two years ago when you couldn't even call someone to have any work done. Or get any parts. Consider it a WIN we are "somewhat" back to normal.
A quick way to keep moving with it is to cut the other one off untill you can get new ones and weld them booth back on. They looked to have several hours on them anyway. And its best to put two new ones back on at the same time to get the same weight. Just a though.
They may have to have you come back and clean where they had to move the home and all the mess left afterward, great job until that tire did it to you.just keep your head up do what you can do.great video.be safe.kudos 😎😎😎👍👍👍
If you had the bucket with you, perhaps you could've detached the mulcher head, attached the bucket and pulled down the vines and staged it in an already-mulched area, and also given you the chance to search for more yard trash. That could've kept your momentum going somewhat and prevent possible damage to the TMC head when you come back with the 120.
I think many not in this business underestimate the cost of doing this work. Equipment, maintenance, repairs and insurance adds up quickly. Not to mention the downtime w/o pay when something malfunctions. Hopefully your welder/fabricator gets you up and running quickly. As always, great content!
Ohhhh nooooo!! I feel so sorry this happened to Lil Munchie! Everything was going along great too and you were really getting it cleared out nicely. Prayers that it’ll be a quick fix for minimal $$. Same for all of your machines so you don’t have to take too long of a vacay…you know, that thing we’re all thinking you need to reward yourself with, wink wink!! 😉 👏👏👏👍👍👏👏👏
Oh no! So sorry! It's so hard when you can't see thru the undergrowth what lies beneath! Seems bad luck also runs in 3s, let's hope all is well in record time because you have lots of business to take care of and bills to pay, right? Hoping you can find alternative equipment to tide you over thru these difficult circumstances! Hugs! Hope to see you soon!
Dammit Man !! Now, that really Sucks... Just wondering ? Is that on you?, Or do ya charge the Land Owner, to have it fixed ?? I mean , I know ya run into stuff like that all the time but, damn !! Seems like it would be somewhat anyway on the Land Owner, for not going over the property as best as they could before you start, I don't know may be it's just the chance ya take, I know ya can't see everything that's hidden in all that mess !! Would say, that is gonna be a pretty good bill on that fix !! Hopefully , you can get lucky and not come up a total loss on this one... It is what it is now, all ya can do is move on ... Hope everything works out ok Man !! Have a "Better" Day !! Today....
You seem to experience wines a lot in your area, would it be possible to install some kind of sharp blade above the roller on the side of the housing to help cutting them off?
For insects I lay my clothes our and spray them with repellent, then put them on. Watching it occurs to me using a grapple to pull and drag out some of the vines might be a good move before turning the munchie loose. Damn, shame about the break down. At least it is not of the green variety or more frequent.
A guy expects the occasional break-down or repair. But having both machines down which puts you out of business, that is a major kick in the nuts. Not to mention twice the repairs bills to pay.
The balance is a weight thing, see if you can knock the other one off on the opposite side and you should be back in balance until you can weld 2 new ones on at the same time, you are removing the same amount of weight, just a thought, at least you will be back in bussiness.
Love your channel and work buddy!! I have been watching your channel/videos for years… Question though why didn’t you use big munch on that job!? Sorry just asking….
NOTE to you Devin, on the misquitoes... forget all that comerical crap with alol the chemicals in it, cause in the long run it will hurt you and your heath, instead, Get a soap or a shower gel with Mint or Lavender in it, and use it on your BEFORE you go out and do a heavy lot, and it will help. four years ago I was always a main course for misquietos and since using a shower gell and liquid soap with mint in it, I have gotten maybe two bites in the last 4 yrs.. it really works.. Misquietos hate mint and lavender. Just saying. The job, for the most part went well UNTIL!!! poor little Munchie. Praying you can get her repaired, and that the BIG munchie will be all repaired soon as well, since your business really depends on both of these machines. God bless.
Little Munchies head did not seem to have its normal power well before it went down even only 14 minutes into the video. When you mulched stuff it normally eats for lunch the RPM kept dropping all the time 🧐
I really enjoy watching your videos. It is informative and fun to watch. Have a question. Can i have your permission and inviation to come and watch you in real time? Please let me know.
I was thinking when you were doing it, it would seem with the vines and crap on the ground, just put the shovel and thumb on and tear those vines out and put it into a dumpster.
You should skip certain jobs if they are left abandoned. Also if you are going to do it charge a higher rate due to the wear and tear on your equipment. Some jobs end up costing YOU because of the equipment destruction.
The most stupid thing is that if the tooth that broke was projected on the red car or something else and it did damage it is Devin who is likely to have problems and not the owner who left the land in a deplorable state of dump I hope it will not be the case
Mentioned this before in other videos, damn vines! When they get out of control, smoother the trees and eventually kill them creating a bigger mess. Strongly dislike vines! :D
You’re pooping the bed almost every day. I think your machines are a little small. Step up your game with some more power busters. Get rid of little munchy, a beginner’s piece.

These bumps that you’re having only shows your resilience and strength. Keep moving forward!
Very sorry to hear of another equipment issue for they are required to do the work. May it be a fast and easy solution for you.

The timeline just flows perfectly with the music!

Early colonists were encouraged to plant grapes. The south has a lot of grapes and vines growing all over. The garbage and tires came later.
Dude!! That was taming the jungle !!! I have never seen anyone take down vines that were that old. Awesome!!
Life of a business man. Good luck getting your equipment all sorted out.
웬만하면 저런 곳은 피해야함.... 기계 고장나고 망가져서 많은 손해..

Eagle eye to see that turtle!👍👍
Good job and video Brother. The joys of being an owner/operator of equipment.
One stinking tire and rim jacked up ol' Lil' Munchie. I hope you can get it back in action quickly.

Poor Little Munchie, hope it gets well soon.❤
Nice video Davin, sorry about the machine getting broke.
That does suck.. That was some wooly looking junk.... Best of the best on the repairs
I've always heard things like that come in 3's, let's hope you're done for a while. KEEP your head up brother it WILL get better.
Oh my god Davin just what you need. Don't be downhearted. Hopefully you can get it sorted soon.
I'm so sorry about little munchie. This has been a week to forget. The week from hell. So sorry buddy.
Good luck brother!
That sucks, man! Both of your babies are down. I hope you'll be able to fix one of them soon. Please keep us posted. Take care!

We have all had those days. It sucks but you'll servive.
Good morning from Texas
Those moist vines can gum up everything but that’s what happens in the summer
Good morning from Minnesota.

Mala suerta! Hope you get the equipment up and running again shortly (& cheaply).
Hi Devin & it's is Randy and i like yours video is Cool & Thanks Devin & Friends Randy
No good deed goes unpunished . The old saying goes .
기계 고치는 비용이 더 많이 듬..
제발 저런곳은 피해야함.
일당보다 몇배 손해..

you may have the small ones there but here in Florence these things look Raptors with wings and when you swing at them its like hitting a man
Looks good Devin and that Sucks
Looks like the Kudzu is taking over, until you got there!
I hate that Little Munch is down. Hopefully they can get it fixed asap!!
Dangit man. So sorry about that. ☹️
Vines...gotta love 'em!
Great transformation
Need a metal detector to find the carbide piece that broke off.
JB weld ought to hold it for ya ….
Bummer that happened.
Love it at fast speed😂😂😂😂. I am really surprised you can get through all of these vines😅😅😅😅.

Can't do much about bugs but spray great job Davin property owner will be happy but break downs are part of the game
Time to do some grubbing! Yank and pulling time. Damn those tires!
Good morning be safe All day
I believe your machines going down is a sign you need a well needed vacation...
If it's not one thing it's.......[fill in the blank] but you're the Boss you got this.
You seem to experience wines a lot in your area, would it be possible to install some kind of sharp blade above the roller on the side of the housing to help cutting them off?
Things come in threes they say so may-be this is the end of your troubles for a while.
Did you look for the carbide tooth that broke off? Rewelding it back on puts you close to being in balance.
For insects I lay my clothes our and spray them with repellent, then put them on. Watching it occurs to me using a grapple to pull and drag out some of the vines might be a good move before turning the munchie loose. Damn, shame about the break down. Good thing you got insurance. That will fix everything.
Sorry that happened, it was beginning to look good.
I ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO DAVIN ❤😊
I hope you look for the part that broke off, it would be balanced mostly if it was welded back on.
I would change the Bearings on the sides of cutting head if you have to pull it out to get it welded up and balanced.
Those bearing take a beating
Love your channel and work buddy!! I have been watching your channel/videos for years… Question though why didn’t you use big munch on that job!? Sorry just asking….
How are the grapevines doing at home , my white vine is doing so so ,need water lol ,good clearance so far sorry you lost a balancing weight .
A couple of minutes before you began your in-cab commentary, I was thinking "man, that's a vine-y lot. Wonder if it's grape or kudzu or wisteria?"
Probably all three!
When you mulched stuff it normally eats for lunch the RPM kept dropping all the time 🧐
Technology always lets you down when you need it the most.
It would be cool there was a rotating ball munchies could up and down as well as back and forth
I really enjoy watching your videos. It is informative and fun to watch. Have a question. Can i have your permission and inviation to come and watch you in real time? Please let me know.
Keeo ur chin up bud. You do great work!

I may have missed it not sure but if you're not allergic to deet, it's been proven to be safe and a good way to keep mosquitos away from you.
I apologize Devin for asking that but I forgot big munchkin was down also…
Sorry about but you are awesome
Nice Vid! ( That Sux )
? anval is there one on MUNCHIE?
Mulching is pure profit. 🙄
What is the update on your machine that went down
Do they make a swivel head for munchie?
Mentioned this before in other videos, damn vines! When they get out of control, smoother the trees and eventually kill them creating a bigger mess.
Strongly dislike vines! :D
