- The #9 Duke Blue Devils built a big lead over Wake Forest and hung on to win, 76-74 for their 22nd victory of the season. Duke’s Mark Williams and Wendell Moore Jr. scored 16 points each, with Williams adding 10 rebounds and Moore adding 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Paolo Banchero scored 13 with 6 assists and AJ Griffin added 12 points and 6 assists for the Blue Devils. Jake LaRavia led Wake with a 19 point / 10 rebound double-double, and Alondes Williams scored 18 points with 4 rebounds and 4 assists for the Demon Deacons.

Not necessarily, there's still a lot of Basketball left. These guys will continue to practice and work on their game. March is all about surviving and moving on.
@@vanessakenney3144 there are only 5 regular seasons games left, they are what they are.Every game they have lost they have lead in the last two minutes. I would love for this team to make a run for Coach in his last season but I just don’t see it.

Duke hasn't figured it out yet, but many of the teams in the ACC have. Playing HARD and SMART can overcome raw talent. Duke ruins chance after chance to run out and put their opponent(s) away. Risky passes, missed freebies, poor shot selection, LAZINESS on Defense, etc. etc. If Banchero wants to go high in the draft, he had better get his ass in gear. Damn near every team has a stopper who can stop him cold.

There is no way dook's last basket should have counted. Once again, dook gets help from the refs. A blatant offensive goal tending waived off....smh
You didn't see the replay they showed over and over again huh? The ball came off the rim and Big Mark stuffed it back in.
First off, you must have a weird definition of offensive goaltending. Replay clearly showed the ball several inches off the rim when Williams touched it.
Second, compare the foul call against Duke’s Williams on the clean block against Wake’s Williams that let Wake tie it (Mark Williams was vertical, got all ball, and Alondes Williams ran into him after the ball left his hands; against Duke’s final play where Banchero was hacked twice with no call.
Third, Alondes Williams entered the 2nd half with 3 fouls, and should have been called for his 4th and 5th within minutes of the start of the 2nd half (and 6th, 7th, 8th fouls well before the end of the game) but the refs kept blowing those calls. Check the big shove he gave Keels on the inbounds play that was somehow called a foul on Keels.
Finally, this note from Wake’s coach in the press conference: “I thought he made it, I did,” Wake Forest coach Steve Forbes said. "Would it have counted? I don't know. I couldn't tell. Probably not here, you know how it goes."
@@DukeTrout You could have saved sending me that long drawn out response. I could care less about Forbes statement, too. A fine form the ACC, please!! I know some of you Love to hate Duke but that was good call all day, everyday
