I built a Raddus list that had 4 ships and 2 squadrons. The idea was that I would be second player and if my opponent selected Hyperspace Assault, I would deploy 1 CR90 and nothing else. Raddus was on my second CR90 which which hyperspaced in with Corran and Dash, dropped Profundity, which dropped Garel's Honor. At the start of turn 2, I deployed almost my entire fleet in my opponent's deployment zone, which rendered the front arc of his ISD useless for the entire match. I still got tabled, but it was fun.
I love these fleet building video’s, they get you thinking of new ways to build your fleets, and you presentations are always fun. They put you love of the game on display.
I’m not happy with the down grade on this for the rebels you lose 2 squadrons you lose points to make up for that though. very good pick for a admiral!
I honestly hate this ship. It has black dice, so it wants to get close fast, but it can't (unless you take Engine Techs). It has an Evade, which means it maybe could want to stay at range, but it doesn't have the dice to stay at long range. It wants to be tanky, but doesn't have redundant Defence Tokens or a Defensive Retrofit, and without Agate, I've seen them simply melt like hot butter. It wants to be a carrier, but it is outplayed in carrier role by 3 other Rebel ships (MC75, Frigate Mk2, MC80 Command Cruiser) and matched by few others. It has very fickle dice, but the only way you are rerolling anything is if you take Caitken & Shollan, Veteran Gunners or Ordnance Experts, all of which have various problems (only 1/3 of the pool, once, only the entire pool, once, or only black dice, 2 at a time). Maybe it could be a salvo ship, but MC80 Assault with Agate/Reactive Gunnery is better. And most importantly... when I ask myself the question - "why would I want to take this ship" I can't find an answer. To push B-Wings around with Engine Techs? MC80 Command does a better job with Rapid Launch Bays. A single-point glass cannon? Liberty is far better. To double-arc-assassinate things? MC30 and MC75 are better at that. To tank? Starhawk and both Home One versions are better at that. To be a carrier? Frigate Mk2 is better. Etc etc etc.
I absolutely get that. For me, I think it's because it CAN do so much with zero upgrades. I saw someone drop a completely naked Providence in with Raddus one time and thought it was brilliant. For the cost, it made for a fantastic ship to drop in someone's face.

As someone just getting into armada it’s nice to see some fleet list building
Keep that Armada content coming. #Armadaisnotdead

Emotional damage. The unscored damage. CC
Just got mine for my CIS so going to see what stuff I can do with it for my Rebels too.
My friend and I have spent a collective hours making builds based around the rebel Prov. It's such a unique brain exercise to theory craft around it
Nice video! Happy Thanksgiving!
I do like a good nesting doll situation
tried this... ended up dropping the prov between/behind 2 onagers. DAmMN that was amazing xD
wait is this an actual thing? like if we purchased the actual providence model can we use it in a rebel fleet?
Perfectly balanced, like all things should be.... Oh dude that joke killed me xD greetings from Germany 🤟
I'm surprised it doesnt have "Rebel One" title.
Very cool. Interesting builds.

Love your videos sir!
No squadrons.....no surprise there.

@@Crabbok that might be very fun... or do absolutely nothing and die (personally, I've seen the latter - it died to an unsupported MC30).
... @supermonkey3291 welcome to a community that values the fun aspect of this game as well as the friends and winning/losing
