What an awesome video on how to measure clothes. This will save people a lot of time searching (like I did lol). Thanks for creating this How To Measure Clothes video!
@@TheHustleCouple You're so welcome. I just did a search for How To Measure Clothes and you are now #5 on the list :) so let's get this video to #1. I also noticed that the views are going up as well :) it is an awesome video and very helpful so let's get the whole world to see it :)
I am thanking God I found you and this video. I'd be happier if I didn't have to go back and measure everything again for my listings, but at least I won't be getting a whole bunch of returns!
I needed this & didn’t even realize I did. You make me a much better reseller. The dry erase measurement board is brilliant! I am grateful to you both. Thank you so much.
Hi Amy, Dan and sweet Mojo! As always you put together another great video! Thanks! I’m selling my own personal professional clothing from the 80’s-90’s (considered vintage) plus more modern pieces from 2000-2017. A “hot tip" from me would be that the vintage sizes run smaller (I suppose that maybe we were thinner then) so I always add the measurements to those listings even if the size is on the tag. Because a size 12 in the 80’s might be equivalent to size 10 or even less in today’s measurements. Cheers, P
@@TheHustleCouple thank you...you are so blessed to have your husband work with you, my husband doesn't.. I hope someday...you guys r so fun to watch...thank you for your videos
when you measure a shirts, chest lets say it 20 inches do you you double it because that would be 40 inches around. or just give the across measurements
New to your channel. Thanks for the info you provide, its very helpful. I have two questions, and I hope you will find time to provide me with response. I appreciate. Is that an electronics photo board or just a regular board. Again, I observed that you showed how to measure the Rise and the Inseam on a pant but not the full length. I have a problem with that. I have a jeans pant with size 30 x 30 on the label, but when I lay the pant on a flat surface and run the tape from top to the end full length it is 38. What gives, why so much difference between label size and actual tape size, or am I missing something?
Hi and welcome!! We're glad you found us :) I'm really not sure what photo board you mean, could you let me know around what part of the video we use it and I can better answer your question. As far at the jeans go, 30x30 is the waist and inseam measurements. The total length of the pants (also known as the outseam) is very rarely given or used. With men's pants the size is almost always listed as Waist X Inseam. Hope that helps!

I had no idea about the sleeve length. I imagine a lot of buyers don’t either.

@@TheHustleCouple thanks for your quick response. I was referring to the picture frame you used to frame the dry erase measurements template.
I had a measurement dispute and the buyer said that the jeans were 25 inches and he didn’t measure them correctly. What can I do?
LOL< you are molesting that man haha. I learned a couple things (or should I say relearned cuz I forgot). Thanks for this!
Hey!! LOL very welcome!
Well at least I can measure the chest correctly and the length 🤣🤣🤣
