For pre rinse I like dawn and simple green. Definitely do a pre rinse as you can really work the soap in, it saves your towels and your washing machine. Not needed on things like drying towels. No don’t use a dryer sheet. Use rags to riches, it works much better that laundry detergent. For drying Walmart sells drying racks, use one of those and a fan. They’ll be dry in a few hours. Then put them in the dryer on no heat (air fluff), to restore the electro static charge, and to fluff them up. Also for very dirty stuff like wheels, Costco sells a large pack of cotton towels. Use that and dispose of it. Cotton is biodegradable.
Microfiber towels are ok up to 140 degrees Fahrenheit. Most water heaters max out at 125 I believe. So hot water is fine. In fact many say to boil em to reset. I've never tried that. In the dryer just set it to low or medium. My #3 dries at 130 I tested it with an infrared thermometer many times to make sure. I'm a car detailer so no fabric softener or dryer sheets, and microfiber specific soap
If you want to keep your investment in towels at there best use the detergent made for microfiber many brands available no softener shit that stuff bad for you clothes as well dry on low or no heat to high heat will ruin them
Dish soap ruins Microfiber towels and hot water melts the fibers. Dryer sheets clog the pores and leave residue. This guy has no clue what he’s talking about.
No no no no no dryer sheets!!! 💀💀💀
Don't use fabric softener on towels
this is an effective "how do destroy your microfibers" tutorial. thanks
lol 😂 this
I was with you right up to the point where you used a dryer sheet.
Is this an April fool's joke?
That's what I was thinking when I saw how disgusting that shower track was. What did he use the towels on? Certainly not that bathroom. 😮
Fabric sheets clog the fibers in the towels dont do that!!!!
Wouldn’t the dryer sheets mess up the clinging properties of the microfiber? You WANT microfiber to be “clingy”, right? To hang on to dust and dirt.

Dryer sheets are bad for fabric and the dryer
Bro, no hot water, only warm. 😊
I've heard they make detergent just for this but I've always suspected it was either the baby safe stuff or tide free and clear.
They do make detergent for it it’s a little on the expensive side and yes this is the cheapest and best way I’ve found and thank you for the comment

😂😂😂 people seriously he’s joking you do not wanna do this those drying sheets will damage the microfiber
I think the hot water damages the microfibre. Correct me if i’m wrong
I saw tutorial from chemical bros. They said hot water is fine but NO Heat in the dryer. it will fry the fibers.
They melt at 140f. So as long as it’s cooler than that you’re fine
Everything wrong in this video, please don’t if you value your cloths/towels
Don't do this
Don’t listen to this guy he’s giving you false information
