Axial 6x6 Unimog upgrades

- Thought long and hard before doing this to my beloved Unimog.I was torn between using it carefully and wanting to protect the now impossible to replace body.The latter option is the one I chose.
I ve very sympatheticly made some changes and upgrades and I ve kept everything I took off and stored it away with the body shell,anything I had to modify I ve bought new replacement parts,also stored away so I can revert to its original at anytime.
Upgrades and replacements include the following,
New brass bumper servo/bumper mount to move servo to the front,
New carbon fibre battery tray fitted lower down,trimmed but will still just about take a full size battery.
Brass wheel weights
Brass diff covers
Ally shock towers
Ally chassis braces
Overdrive to front axle
Internal sprung shocks
Metal drive shafts
Metal bumpers with tow bar to rear and winch mount to front
Working winch
Ftx Texan cab only body in mettalic graphite
Fastrax Rocko tyres fitted with custom made to measure 3d printed power foams
Ally wheels
Hw fusion pro brushless 2300
Power hd 30 kg servo.
Few short clips of it rock climbing and a bit of side hilling,plus of course it would nt be normal if I did nt dip it’s toes in the rocky river bed!😂😂👍
These power foams are awesome,they hold the shape of the tyre better and dont collapse when side hilling.
