NTW 3 New Player Guide Part 1: Lobby and Army Building

- I am going to try to make a series of videos aimed at new(er) players who are a bit overwhelmed by the learning curve of NTW3 multiplayer. These videos aren't exhaustive and might be a bit dull for some of you, but if you're tired of being walked over in every lobby then maybe this series will be of some help for you!
This is part 1 and will cover some of the different game play types, factions, and even building an army!
*Disclaimer*
I would not consider myself the "best" NTW3 player and definitely not the most meta or min-max player out there. As such, much of what I talk about in this vid will be my opinion, generated through experience. There are more than one way to play this mod, and those differences are often hotly debated. What works for one person will not work for everyone.

Hi to everyone... I cannot see the theaters of war and custom units. I have tried all 4 of the resolution options given at the launcher screen, and every resolution in the graphics options in the game menu... Any suggestions?

I just got into modding, I recently tried to download it of mod DB and the hotfix file won’t download due to a virus detected. Any suggestions on how to work around this or fix this? Thanks
Any advice on how to find players to play this mod with? looking to do online battles.
This build is good but swap the inf out with malitia, gren/marines and about 300 more horses inc les dieux and guard lancers.
Could you show something like a list of the must bring units from each faction so that we can get an idea of cost compared to stats. Like, I've been told not to bring certain units because the cost doesn't justify the lack of stats, and it's hard to get a solid grasp on what is and isn't cost effective. Maybe even show the best cost effective unit of all factions or of all unit types. Example, this unit is the most cost effective grenadier in the entire imperial side. Another tough one I have is deciding what's better, a 90 man 22 accuracy 55 reload or a 110 man 19 accuracy 40 reload.
I personally don't believe in the whole "certain units must be brought" ideology. Everyone has different playstyles and different needs. There are definitely some units which are more "cost effective" but it only matters if you know how to gain that value from the unit. You can have the most min-maxed army ever and deploy it in a single line and lose horribly.
Size, acc, and reload are all difficult to chose from, but it also depends on deployment and use. If you make your 110 man unit have a small frontage, you aren't gaining the benefit from having more models in shooting, but it can stay there longer, etc.
This video was very helpful, but, on my ntw3, I don't see the Théàtres de Guerre (Theaters of War) at 12:42 and custom armies only had one unit. Do you know why this is and how to fix it?
you likely have the wrong resolution set on the launcher.
Hey man, for some reason i dont get the Theatres of war Armies availible.... I have tried changing the resolution... any ideas how they might not appear? Thanks for a great video!
usually one of the launcher's resolutions will work. if not then you have an ancient monitor

what is your monitor resolution?
@@dogelorestrategy I figured out the problem. The Patch was not installed correctly. So just did an clean install with the patch and it worked out :)

@Celestial when you click the ntw launcher, it will have an option on the right that shows resolution options. Check the lordz discord FAQ section for a screenshot
