I have the same thing on my carport / deck it was put on my house in 1984 it is all canvas thow. My grandma had put it on the carport we dont have screen like yours we have fenceing. And they last still ornigal fastners and vanvas i just this last summer had to replace aome of the zippers and patch a couple small holes. But rolls up just the same as yours . Carport is about 18 feet high , havnt seen anyone else with carport like this . Mine is not clear is green and tan if we want view we roll up a panel.
If I wish to join two 54" inch by 8 foot' pieces of clear 20mil plastic that I cut from a long roll, lengthwise to make one piece about 100 inches by 8 foot, is it cheaper and easier to use a hot glue gun or some heating method or some kind of liquid cement glue chemical? Thanks
I'd like to frame them in like screen to create a 3-season room. How thick must the vinyl be to hold in air-conditioning during hot/humid Florida summers? What type of vinyl will resist yellowing in the sunlight?
Has anyone used this on their front porch? I bought a home with a dropped front porch due to rain coming in and it caused the basement wall to bulge in.The worst thing anyone can do.Trying to find a way to stop rain from coming on the porch.Any suggestions PLEASE..
Not sure how you’d get a good weather seal if it’s just held down by some brackets. I’d look into a single storm window that’s made out of “c” sash and then be held in by misc clips. -Glazier 20 yrs

This stuff is really easy to sew. If you have a sewing machine why not see them together or sew on Velcro.
