      Thanks for watching, Mark. It's a Taylor GS Mini e-Koa. It's a terrific guitar.

      @@markjohnson9485 , thanks so much for your comments. I'd recommend swinging by a music store that sells them and trying them out. Also, sometimes Taylor guitars has a special where a purchase of a certain series guitar allows you to purchase the GS Mini (3 versions) at a much lower price. I went in with another player who wanted a Taylor. He went for the standard series and I chose the Mini and we paid for them, together, but at prorated prices based upon the original stickers to keep it fair. Great deal for both of us. Thanks, again, Mark.

      Yep, you got it. Really cool, affordable Taylor. I recommend it. Try one at a music store if you don't already own one. Thanks for swinging by.

      Thanks for swinging by...I appreciate it. It's a Taylor GS Mini e-Koa. Much easier to get around the fretboard for my old fingers.

      I like it! Great job that’s a beautiful chord progression! I might have to check out that mini Taylor as well, love the bright chimney tone. I have a j45 that I love but that Taylor would complement the Gibson pretty well. Thanks for sharing your knowledge

    • @barryvillaverde8631
      @barryvillaverde8631  9 месяцев назад

      @@Mark-fs5fq thanks for taking a listen. I bet that J45 of yours is rich in tone and much bigger sounding than the mini Taylor I have. But you're right, the sounds are different enough that it would be a nice complement and it's so easy to play. I have a Martin and prefer playing the Taylor, not because of the sound, but the feel of the neck.

    • @r_aguilar68
      @r_aguilar68 9 месяцев назад

      @@barryvillaverde8631 Thank you. I ask because the neck looks really comfortable and I have minor nerve damage on my left hand and looking for a specific kind of neck.

    • @barryvillaverde8631
      @barryvillaverde8631  9 месяцев назад +1

      @@r_aguilar68 You bet. Great observation and great description. The neck is very, very friendly and though I ordered it from the factory, it came with extremely close action so it played like a dream right off the bat. Taylor has had a special where if you buy one of a series of guitars, then you can also buy a GS-Mini at a very reduced price. I connected with another guitar player and we split the price, prorated - he bought the required series and I got the GS-Mini. I have a Martin and rarely play it now that I have the Taylor. You might try one in a music store and see what you think. Thanks, again, for swinging by. More videos (especially tutorials) to come.
