I'm reminded of the "Chicago" dance routine in the movie starring Richard Gere, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Renee Zellweger. "All I Care About" is sung by Gere with a bevy of scantily-dressed beauties around him. In the special feature of the DVD, it is mentioned that the gold coins falling from the ceiling caused the dancers to slip and fall. At least in this show, the paper money was blown off the stage before an accident occurred.
i have, it was fine, but it was something about this arrangement that just didn't flow for me, so it just made the whole number itself off putting to me.
These videos, while great in focusing on the dance moves, does not pay proper homage to the whole production. The fantastic scenery and the transitions from one part of NYC to another gives the continuity to the show. That, and the camera is way too close to give the correct ambiance and grandeur of the scenes. I was there, front row mezzanine, and regretted not having my HD Camcorder now.
Sad to see you haven't posted anything from the street musician scene. That was one of the highlights without the focus on the Rockettes. But, from your location in the Orchestra, probably impossible to get that one right. Thanks for providing these, my wife and I really enjoyed reliving our experience.
I need them to bring back asap. Christmas spectacular whoooo??
This show was the best, truly spectacular!
Totally agree. Thanks for watching.

Rockettes are great. Can't say the same about the music.
This number, was so bizarre. Wasnt sure how i felt about it.
I liked it, its a different look for the rockettes dance wise
same, it was deeper and more critical about the economy issue than the others song..."money, money, money, money, money, money," i like that one
If you've seen cabaret, this is nothing compared to that.
