I guess you are doing it wrong because if you use a phone that is with some other Samsung account first of all it will show you a popup for the delivery and I guess on that particular window the download size will be shown. For this video you are using both the phones with the same Samsung account and that's why it is directly downloading the particular video from the another device just change the Samsung account
I got my update today, i had just commented on your previous video about the workaround of copying the link so that i can send to groups rather than individually, i now like that you can copy the link & paste in my google messages, saves me the steps.
It will show the file size only on the popup which has a accept and decline button. After accepting the request it goes away and only progress bar is shown . I think they did not implemented it well, thats why it works like that.
2:57 you mentioned sending files to someone in another country. But don't they have to be within Bluetooth range (hence the term 'search for devices nearby')? This is what's confusing. In this case, would you have to use the 'Share to contacts' option lower down which states 'Share files with contacts even if they're not nearby'? Am I understanding correctly? 🙈
Yes you are right, you can quick share the files through wifi/wifi direct to the nearby device or if you want to share files to someone not near you, you can create a link, the files will get uploaded to samsung cloud (now upto 10 gb) the receiver of the link can download it from anywhere on any device using any web browser.
