product based is not always software product it can be manufacturing or non IT company as well
so negetive point of non IT company is your knowledge will get stagnant and if you are initial peryof your journey then you will not able to swich after some years
My total experience in IT is 17 years
worked in 7 companies

Can insurance company be product based if they sell their product to the consumers...
@Manohar Bhai: Whats client to Service Based is a Customer to Product Based.
In general terms, when someone is availing services, he is client. When someone purchases a product, he is customer.
In terms of Software, when someone else owns software and I work, it is client. When my company owns software and someone else buys it, it is customer.
BEST IS MAKE YOUR YOU TUBE VIDEOS . WORKING FOR SOMEONE IS ALWAYS PAINFULL
👍

sir layoffs band hogye ky?
Product based or service based both are laying off now.I am working in siemens and its laying off.Higher management failed to retain client for the product so they started laying off people.be ready for interview 24*7 that will make sure you keep earning money
If you are very good in core computer science and very skilled but you are stuck in service based company then resign immediately and join any good product company or you will regret for life. Remember service based companies are for unskilled and losers who thinks that learning a programming language is computer science
I am a dev working with .net core web api and have basic angular hands on and working currently in Two projects Modernization and sustainance team with 2 YOE what should be my salary planning to switch not sure what should i ask for

In a service based company, should one choose government projects or choose some other projects from clients outside India?
never choose govt projects
@@vishalpagey8634 why?
They may ask you to go onsite which will be working from govt offices. These can also be in small towns or villages and facilities there are no where close to corporate offices. The people you will deal with will have very limited to zero technical knowledge. There is zero chance of going abroad as well.
Sir Strutup join karu & MNC join karu konsa best rahaga sir

@@ManoharBatra Thanks you Sir, suppose current is 18.5 fix can we ask 25 in Gurgaon. I am getting too much pushback when I ask, what should we do Sir ?

Sir TCS diwali bonus deti hai kya?
Ideally no
Product based companies lost their shine...not paying good salaries
M product based mnc m hoo mere ghr k psss m hi h ..bilkul govt job jesi h or hike bhi acchi h❤
Kya name hai ?
As per my opinion service based companies are good in terms of job security
It is a biggest lie, to be honest. I have worked in both and "Product Based" when do layoff will accept it and pay you 3-4 months of Salary, where as "service based" will make you do resign without any layoff compensation.
You might have not seen up turn in tech. Product based usually do layoff when there is recession same as service based. But product based pay you so much thatbif you get layoff u don't have to worry about money. And remember these ressesion do comes every 10-12 years. So after current recession, next couple be in next 10-15 years(based on previous data) so in next 10-15 years someone in product based will be much much richer than someone who is in service based.
Now it's on person to person who to have good financial plans.
Your skillset is the job security not the job
sir - are you in product based or service based ?
service based 😂
Ibm mei hai sir
Ye sab tcs me nahi chalta hai. Yaha 5 saal ke experience ko bhi 5.5 lakh hi milta hai even after 3 consecutive "A" 😢😢
Bro am too TCS.. if you stay in same company nothing changes… consider 1lakh increase in 1 year including promotions adjustments..

Service based is a daily torture… billable or not…, keep rotating resources for optimisation of cost, all other useless work.
True
Service based me mera manager bolta hai, tum billable ho 22 din ke liye, chhutti nhi de skta, agar diya to hours compensate krna padega weekends pe
