- Check out Chris's latest video now! A Hill in Spain chronicles Chris's recent trip to Malaga and the surrounding hills where he found this gem of a trail with help from top photographer Victor Lucas.
Unsure of what Chris would find out there, he took his "anything" bike the Mongoose Nugget. What he found was an incredible, rocky hill side with some fantastic trails, Chris takes lines that no other could consider. Off the trails, Chris found plenty of other challenges in the town built into the hill.

The older I get the more I appreciate the precise technical riders over young guys with no self-preservation instinct. Sure, this video is by no means a footage of a guy who just "plays it safe" all the time. Yet the confidence in what you do really shows throughout and the overal slower pace is actually an advantage IMHO. Keep it up! :)

Nice one Chris!!! I'm a guide in that area of Mijas, Ojén and Istán where the video was shot, and I didn't know those tracks where "rideable".
this is anouther case of "its not the bike, its all the rider" some of the most skillful riding I've seen on an mtb
superb skills! well shot video too, there's definitely some noise now on not only skills ability but also the photography element of these type of videos - definitely one the best out there!!

I've just listened to the 'downtime' podcast, and he mentioned how gutted he was about the dab at the bottom of the massive triple drop. But too risky to try it again.
I seem to remember that he bent or broke something on that drop as well so I'm not sure he could have gone again that day anyway.

It seems like a descent way from Radio-TV repeater, through quarry and Mijas town, but I'm not sure about the rest of run that ends on beach (Mijas-Costa or Fuengirola).
Anyway, it's a great video.
