“The feel of a motorbike enduro is what I was after,” Chris explains of his inspiration for the edit, “they just go out and ride anything on their bikes - like really hard, trials lines, through to motocross. They’re having so much fun - just getting on bikes and riding. But hard enduro just covers so much riding from mega-hard trials, to fast-paced riding - but it’s just going out and having fun. Covering ground, doing technical stuff, all that gnadgery stuff over the logs - almost like indoor enduro, super-enduro. Just like when I was younger when I used to emulate moto trials riders, for this I wanted to emulate hard enduro riders - but with a twist. On my eBike.”

The arena for much of the edit was a motorbike enduro facility - Parkwood Outdoors off-road centre, near Bradford, UK - which is ordinarily out of bounds to mountain bikes and e-mountain bikes, but Chris was granted special permission for filming.

The problem with using Akrigg to sell bikes, is he could literally do this stuff on your beach cruiser. But a Chris Akrigg video is always a net positive.
Well Yamaha uses Pol Tarres to sell bikes and "not everyone" rides a Tenere on hard Enduro races... 😁

Bring an old trials rider and now mtber, Chris' style and way of riding is just my fave, brilliant riding and video. Loved the fact it was raw aswell.

Nothing short of ridiculous! Chris is a big inspiration for me as well, but this just made laugh spontaneously. It is just so good! There were very few maneuvers I could even dream to do. And new creative ones as well! A legend! Keep up the great work!

There are quite a few notable trials/street/stunt bike riders out there...some are way way famous than Chris...but for me, I like Chris' bike riding style better...because they are flawless (even though it's been edited, but all riders do the same)....and, here's the thing, only he does what he does...he doesn't replicate others' tricks :)
