I have a big cigar box filled with dental and surgical tools. Besides the picks, I have various spatulas, forceps, tweezers, scalpels and tiny scissors. I got lucky dumpster diving behind a hospital once, and now I'm set for life. I find the forceps really useful, not only for grabbing dropped screws and so on, but as mini clamps.
@@Utuber-x44 Everything was well used. I assume they were replacing old stock. I got 3 bone chisels with small nicks on the bevel that I was able to regrind.
I remember you talking about the hospital/medical grade plugs. I've had multiple people on construction sites just going on and on about how amazing dental tools are, I've been one of them. Idk if its because I live in a fairly wealthy area but I've been to dentist's office where they literally throw these tools in the garbage when they're done...
100% agree!!! I've needed so many different "precision" tools like this, that I've created a drawer just for them!
