It was suggested to me by ColyWoly to upload the actual boss battles in career mode, so here they are. I didn't go for quickly beating them, I went for score and FC like always. If you didn't know, the scores you get on the 3 boss battles in career actually count toward you career score at the bottom of the setlist and on the leaderboards. Because of this, if you want an easy way to boost your career score, replay some of these guitar battles. Tom Morello is easy enough to FC and get a good score on. Besides FCing it, the only way to get more points is for Tom to use double notes against you so that you get more points from playing chords instead of singles. My best score is 1000 points higher than this, but it's pretty tough to get good double notes placement so that you can still FC it, so this is good enough for a video. I have Slash battle coming tomorrow, and then a really good score on the Devil battle on Sunday.

The Guitar Battle Tutorials were specifically stated as followed: "If you don't finish off your opponent by the end of the song, it goes into sudden death, where every Power-Up can kill you. That's Guitar Battle for ya." When I first played this game, if you remember on how the Guitar Battle Tutorials work, the main premise on how you want to overcome your foes in a battle of rock and roll, it's all about
mastering all the Battle Attacks you can use on your opponent. In other words, beating your opponent into submission. You actually want to make sure that you use all three Battle Attacks on them, before the song has reached it's breaking point. I know all the names of the Battle Attack Items and how they work. Here they are:
Whammy Bar: If either you or your opponent grabs this Attack, you or your opponent must use your Whammy Bar to wiggle it in order to prevent you from missing notes on the fretboard.
Double Notes: The Double Notes can act as two or three more notes for you or your opponent to hit depending on who uses this attack.
Lefty Flip: The Lefty Flip will reverse your fret buttons, going from green on the left, to orange on the left, as green on the right, making it difficult for you or your opponent to hit
notes in reverse depending on who uses this item. Here is the order and reverse
order for the buttons on you or your opponent's fretboard are flipped

Normal Fretboard Reversed Fretboard
Amp Overload: This Attack will cause either you or your opponent's fretboard to shake, making it difficult to see and hit notes on the fretboard depending on who uses this Battle Attack.

Easy to Medium
Medium to Hard
Hard to Expert
Broken String: This Battle Attack must enforce you or your opponent to tap the button on your guitar controller in accordance to the string that is broken. If either you or your opponent doesn't repair the broken, neither player can hit notes.
Power-Up Steal: This item can be a lifesaver depends on who uses this item. If either you or your opponent happens to grab this Battle Attack, either you or your opponent will get the chance to steal the Battle Attack from either player before they can use it. If either you or your opponent DON'T HAVE an attack to steal while either uses it, it will disappear.
Death Drain: When the song goes into sudden death, this attack is why it is called the "Death Drain." This attack can be a brutal NIGHTMARE depends on who uses this attack. It will cause you or your opponent's ROCK Meter to drop into the red, causing that player to lose. Let's hope that the player's ROCK Meter doesn't fall deep into the red is you.
The best three attacks to use in a Guitar Battle in Guitar Hero games is the Broken String, Whammy Bar and Amp Overload attacks, in my opinion. If you or a friend are facing off each other in Guitar Battle, if you're an expert on Expert, you want to save these three attacks, the moment you or your opponent happen to reach the most difficult solos in hard songs, such as One, and Through the Fire and Flames, with the long strings of notes, followed by the ones next to a long string, and HOPO's. The Broken String can only work for you or your opponent if this is the first attack if you or your rival at the start, middle, or the end of a song. The Whammy Bar can help you or your opponent too, as well. Amp Overload will override your opponent's amp which will cause you or your opponent's fretboard to shake and flash, which will cause either you or foe to miss and hit notes that appear. You also want to be cautious and not let your opponent happen to use the Power Up Steal attack to swipe away your attack, the moment it appears with star-shaped notes with the sharpened tip on the top of them. The moment you see it appear on your fretboard and if you happen to nail all the notes with that attack, then winning the battle can be a total brutal, but life changing display. You can use this attack to help you take your opponent's attack from them as well. If they happen to have an attack with them, go for the steal.
But just be careful that you're not in possession of attacks at the time, the moment, your opponent has it, or if they're planning to use one of them on you. If you have two or more attacks with you, and your opponent has this attack in hand, then they can, in turn, to swipe away one of your attacks, turn the attack against you, causing you to miss notes, allowing your ROCK Meter to fall too close to the red, and that is a punishment you don't want to have being enforced upon you. In a case like this, just stay out of your opponent's hairline the moment they have this attack with them. As for Death Drain, that's where the attack lives up to it's name as the "Death Drain." If you or a friend are facing off against one another in Guitar Battle, or a boss Guitar Player in your career, be wary of this attack. The reason why the Death Drain attack gets it's name as the Death Drain, DO NOT LET A SONG GET SENT INTO SUDDEN DEATH, because by doing so, it can either help you, or your opponent depending by port priority. The way on how Sudden Death happens in a game of Guitar Hero, the
two things you need to keep a pair of close eyes on is both the green arrow tip that goes up as the song progresses, and the skull with wings at the top. Before the song starts, the wings won't open. But they will open over time all the way or halfway open the moment the song you and your opponent are battling against is in the middle, or the end. If you or a friend friend are facing off each other, the Death Drain attack will appear on both you and your opponent's fretboards, the moment it first appears, causing
it to draw itself closer to the fretboard. The player depends on who uses this attack will cause their ROCK Meter to turn into a Death Drain skull and crossbones icon, like this,☠ causing it to blink repeatedly while seeing you or your opponent's ROCK Meter to go from the green 🟩, to the yellow 🟨, and all the way to the red🟥, which will cause that player on who uses this item, to lose. If you happen to see the
attack appear before you at the first few seconds of the song as it gets put into Sudden Death, don't bother
grabbing it if your opponent is planning to use it on you and let them take the win for their themselves. We don't allow that around these parts But instead, the wisest thing to do is to just sit the rest of the battle out, and wait to see if you're opponent happens to do the same thing, too, as well. Another thing I forgot
to point out when using attacks in Guitar Battle, is that the part I mentioned
before how the Power Up Steal can either help you or your opponent to take
one another's attack, the Power Up Steal can be a lifesaver when a song actually does
gets sent into Sudden Death. If you do exactly by sitting out the group of notes that has
the Death Drain attack appear on your fretboard, and you miss it ON PURPOSE, then wait
until your opponent is in possession of it, take it away from them, use it on them, and presto!
That's how you make a big comeback in Sudden Death. Just sit out on the group of notes,
then wait until your opponent has it in hand, swipe, then bam!
