Brings me back to 7th grade school trip to an amusement park. It had an arcade with gh3 and I played this song as I loved the game a few years prior. I absolutely shredded this song and I had a whole crowd of my classmates watching me and cheering me on. One of the best feelings in the world that I'll never forget, especially being an unpopular kid.
No fu***** way. That exact thing also happend to me, not in an amusement park, but in a bowling alley on an overseas trip to England organized by my school. (Same song, same events, same grade and I also was an unpopular kid back then). I still remember that I missed like 2 or 3 notes and got 99% completion of the song. Other songs I played there were Rock n roll all night, no more sorrow, welcome to the jungle and the number of the beast. (Thank god Through the Fire and Flames was not available on that arcade machine, as that was the only song I could never complete on expert and all of my classmates were asking me to play that song).
Even though 11 years have passed since that (October 30-31, 2010), I will never forget that glorious feeling. The same feeling that now I know someone else understands to perfection.

Same thing happened to me sort of lol. There used to be a guitar hero 3 arcade game at the arcade at Mohegan Sun in CT. Had a nice group of people watching me as I shredded my name is Jonas or something lol.

@@brentwebster3243 didn’t even see u replied, yeah Clone Hero is a free to play clone of GH. Download it for PC or Mac and get a gh guitar (you will need an adapter from raphnet.com depending on what guitar you have)

When I first met my boyfriend I asked him if we could play guitar hero. He was like okay hehe and we played at medium. After that I 'accidently' put that song at expert and started playing it. He said 'Oh...' he was kinda impressed. 5 years later and we have a house and a kid and another kid on the way.

I remember playing this song on repeat with my twin sister when we were 12. We finished the song on medium with me on lead and her on bass. We took a huge sigh at the end and slowly looked at each other and said "wanna do it again?" At the same time. I'll never forget it.

I remember this song as one of the first you encounterd that really required you to know what you were doing with your hands. Having absolutely 0 experience on a real guitar it was a nightmare to learn, yet one of the funniest to play.

yes but pay attention to the way the notes are being hit, in one case he goes from a red and orange chord (after it ended for about a second) and changes it instantly to a green and yellow chord as the chord crosses the frets at the bottom of the screen, no human has that kind of reaction, it even proves he cheated by making a computer system to do the song for him

Played this in timezone (arcade where I’m from) and scrolled to the bottom of the songs. This was one of the 4th songs from the bottom. Me and my best friend played it and when it got to 1:09 I started vibing so hard. I didn’t care what I looked like but I literally started bopping my head and everything! I played it again just so I could get the name of the song. Definitely worth it ^^

This song will live long in my memories forever. I lived in Japan around the time these games were very popular. I played this song on Hard at Yodobashi-Akiba (i believe that's what it was called) and when the song was over, i turn around to a crowd of people that had been watching me play.
